Chapter 364 Sales and Exhibition Activities (1) (1/2)

Day 130 on the maritime calendar, the first rays of dawn.

Inside the exhibition hall

Merchants were busily preparing at their respective stalls, some arranging goods, others wiping down their displays. An atmosphere of tension and anticipation filled the air.

Gu Xi's gaze swept across the area, and her originally calm heart suddenly began to race, but she maintained a calm and composed expression on her face.

"How are the preparations going?" Gu Xi turned to ask Lu Man beside her.

Luhmann flipped through the list in his hand. "Proceeding as planned, the goods inspection is complete."

Gu Xi nodded. "Very good. This will help everyone stay alert and better prepare for any unexpected situations."

Gu Xi suddenly sensed a familiar fluctuation of mental energy coming from the direction of the deck; it was the aura of You Yin.

Her gaze instantly turned serious as she turned to Luman and said, "Youyin and the others have arrived. Notify everyone to proceed to the deck immediately to greet them."

Luhmann nodded quickly and turned to relay the order.

Gu Xi took a deep breath and suppressed her slightly accelerated heartbeat.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Gu Xi raised his voice to the assembled merchants, "the distinguished guests of the Deep Sea Clan have arrived. Please stop what you are doing immediately and follow me to the deck to greet them. Let us present our best selves."

As soon as he finished speaking, Gu Xi took steady steps toward the deck.

Behind her, the businessmen quickly straightened their clothes and followed.

Gu Xi led the merchants onto the deck, the sea breeze gently caressing their faces.

Suddenly, the air above the deck began to distort, as if an invisible hand was tearing the curtain of reality apart.

Everyone held their breath, watching this strange sight.

The spatial distortion intensified, gradually forming a dark, elliptical rift. The edges of the rift shimmered with eerie blue energy ripples, like the fluorescence emitted by creatures from the deep sea.

Suddenly, a blurry figure emerged from the crack, and members of the deep-sea race of various shapes and sizes walked out from within.

They come in all shapes and sizes; some resemble human figures, while others are completely beyond human imagination.

As members of the Deepsea Clan emerged from the spatial rift one by one, the atmosphere on the deck instantly froze.

The merchants' expressions changed from tension to fear. Some unconsciously took a half step back, then forced themselves to stand still, their clothes quietly soaked with sweat.

They never expected that these deep-sea creatures would look like this!

In particular, some of the deep-sea creatures cast contemptuous and disdainful glances at them, as if they were looking at a group of inferior beings.

However, when their gaze turned to Gu Xi, their attitude suddenly changed, revealing friendliness and enthusiasm.

This stark contrast added to the humiliation and unease felt by the businessmen.

The merchants gritted their teeth, their clenched fists trembling slightly, hidden in their sleeves.

They could only lower their heads, using silence to conceal their inner fear and anger, afraid that any slight movement would attract the attention of these deep-sea creatures.

Many of these deep-sea creatures also bring their sea beasts with them.

Standing on the third floor, Ais narrowed her eyes slightly upon seeing the various sea creatures, a thought flashing through her mind.

Those bones...

This might be an excellent opportunity to return it to a sea creature of the same type.

Ais murmured softly, her gaze sweeping across the scene on the deck.

The last to emerge from the spatial rift was You Yin. Its indistinct form slowly drifted towards Gu Xi, and the surrounding air seemed to distort because of its presence.

"Gu Xi, it's been a long time." The light flashing on You Yin's body indicated that it was extremely excited. "It seems you have prepared a grand welcome ceremony for us."

Gu Xi nodded slightly, her expression remaining calm. "You Yin, welcome. The exhibition venue is ready and can begin at any time."

However, You Yin's slender eyes suddenly narrowed. "No rush, no rush. We just went through space travel, I want to check out our accommodations first. After all, the venue has always been there, hasn't it?"
