Chapter 378 Flame Scale's Revenge (1/2)

Flamescale's enormous body slowly rose from the sea surface, and the fishmen involuntarily took a few steps back.

But as soon as they saw and recognized that this enormous creature was actually their former slave, their shock and fear were quickly replaced by contempt.

The merfolk leader narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing Flamescale, before suddenly bursting into laughter: "Hahaha! So it's you, you useless piece of trash! What good is it if you get bigger?"

The other murlocs joined in the commotion.

"Look, isn't that the little fry who always gets whipped and screams?"

"Yeah, yeah, it's gotten bigger now, so have the whip marks on its butt gotten bigger too?"

"Don't forget what it fears most!" a fishman sneered. "Hey, big guy! Remember how we punished you? We hung you high up and made you bungee jump. How was that? Fun up there, huh!"

Upon hearing these words, Flame Scale was enraged.

It roared, "You bastards, I'll make you pay!"

The merfolk leader, however, was completely unconcerned and became even more smug: "Oh, so you've learned to boast? Don't forget, deep down you're still that cowardly, afraid-of-heights good-for-nothing! Even if you've grown bigger, your nature hasn't changed!"

These words seemed to strike a nerve with Flamescale. It suddenly realized that it was suspended high in the air and felt a wave of dizziness.

But then it remembered the trust Gu Xi and Ai Si had placed in it, and the adventures they had shared. Besides, it was in its original form now and wasn't afraid of heights at all.

Flamescale struggled to calm its inner fear, staring at the fishmen below, its eyes blazing with blue-purple flames.

"Pfft! You're wrong. I'm not the same person I used to be. Today, I'll show you the true power of the Flamefish Beast!"

Having said that, Flame Scale opened its mouth wide, and a huge blue-purple fireball condensed inside.

A blue-purple fireball roared out and instantly disappeared into the sea.

Before the fish-men could react, a strange light suddenly appeared underwater.

"Try me out!"

The bluish-purple flames spread through the water at an astonishing speed, like a nimble fire serpent, quickly coiling around the nearest mermen.

The merman touched by the flames let out a shrill scream and frantically tried to thaw the flames off his body, but to no avail.

"This...how is this possible?!" The merfolk leader stared wide-eyed at the scene before him in disbelief.

The other merfolk were also stunned by the sudden attack; they had never seen flames that could burn in water, let alone move so quickly.

"Run!" a fishman shouted in terror.

However, it was too late. The blue-purple flames had already formed a circle in the water, trapping most of the fishmen inside.

Flame Scale looked down at everything from the air, his eyes flashing with the pleasure of revenge.

"Pfft! See that? This is the power of the 'trash' you all call us!" Flame Scale roared. "I've never been the little fish you all talk about!"

The fish-people panicked, swimming wildly in the water, trying to escape this inferno. But no matter which direction they swam, they crashed into walls of blazing fire.

"Now you know what real trash looks like, right?" Flamescale taunted the fish-man in the water.

The fishmen's laughter turned into horrific screams, their faces filled with terror, and they no longer paid attention to what Flamescale was saying.

"Impossible! How can there be fire in the water?" a fishman exclaimed.

Flamescale heard the ignorant exclamation and gave a contemptuous smile.

"Pfft! Someone like you think you can enslave me? You don't even know the difference between water and fire, you're not worthy!"

After saying that, Flame Scale spat and then released more blue-purple fireballs.

The fireball roared out and headed straight for the back of the fish-men.

The fishmen scattered and fled, but a few unlucky ones were hit by the fireball and instantly burned to a crisp.

"Damn it! Attack it with water!" the merman leader shouted.

In an instant, countless water jets surged toward the Flame Scales.

However, these attacks were blocked by a suddenly appearing transparent bubble.

"Pfft? What is this...?" Yan Lin looked puzzled.
