Chapter 26 Returning to the Su Family

After Su Xueying left, Rong Yan couldn't help but ask, "Master Su, why did you go back to the Su family?"

"I'm going to check on the Feng family."

It's Su's mother's birthday celebration, and the Feng family, as in-laws, couldn't possibly not attend.

Rong Yan then realized what was happening, and his eyes welled up with tears: "Master Su, I never imagined you would go to that place for my uncle. Don't worry, I will definitely amaze you."

Su Lenghe: "It's not just for the Rong family..." She still has scores to settle with the Su family.

She watched Su Xueying's retreating figure and murmured, "Did Su Xueying really come here just to buy things?"

Rong Yan's eyes flashed with a sharp light as he asked, "Boss, where did she buy the jade?"

The boss looked troubled: "Young Master Rong, this..."

Rong Yan picked up the most expensive piece of jade, and the shopkeeper's eyes lit up instantly: "It's in that alley over there, the third shop on the left."

Rong Yan asked in confusion, "Isn't that a residence? Why are they selling things there?"

The shop owner sighed softly, "That's right, those customers just go there to buy things, business is pretty good, I don't know when they started advertising."

Rong Yan was puzzled: "Should we go take a look?"

Su Lenghe nodded slightly and picked up a piece of ordinary jade that she had just taken a liking to: "How much is this?"

Rong Yan bought a piece of jade worth two million from the store, while he gave away this worthless piece of jade, which was essentially a gift.

"I'll give this jade to you as a gift."

Su Lenghe glanced at the boss: "Don't regret it."

"I will never regret it."

Su Lenghe felt that this antique street was a great place to find bargains. Last time it was a peach wood sword, and this time it was jade. The shopkeeper just gave it away as a gift.

After Rong Yan paid, he handed over the jade, saying, "Your piece of jade isn't good enough. Take mine instead."

Su Lenghe rubbed the jade pendant in her palm: "Mine is much better than yours."

Rong Yan smiled smugly: "Master Su, I've handled thousands, if not thousands, of jade pieces. The one I have is high-ice type, while yours is glutinous type. Unless it turns into glass type, it'll be more or less like... huh?"

He was still talking when his exclamation was particularly loud.

The jade pendant in Su Lenghe's hand changed from a murky light blue to an almost completely transparent glass-like substance, crystal clear and shimmering with a light blue glow.

"This...it actually turned into a glassy jade?"

Pure glass-type jade is rare to begin with, and blue jade is even rarer. Glass-type jade with a light blue tint is even more valuable.

Rong Yan's pupils trembled slightly. He held the jade pendant in his hand, and it took him a long time to speak in shock: "This...it didn't look like this before."

He held up the jade pendant, and the sunlight made the pale blue color even more obvious. He remembered that there was a piece of jade with a similar color at a previous auction, which sold for a high price of 100 million.

Rong Yan rubbed his eyes and rolled his eyes: "Master Su, if you could turn every piece of jade like this, wouldn't you be rolling in money?"

Su Lenghe smiled calmly: "Not all jade is suitable."

This is an antique jade piece that has lived in the world for many years and has accumulated a lot of energy. What Su Lenghe did was simply rearrange the chaotic energy within it.

Rong Yan clicked his tongue in amazement: "You've simply turned the rotten into the magical, even changing the species."

Su Lenghe smiled and said, "I can transform into people too."

Rong Yan's eyes widened in surprise: "Really?"

Su Lenghe nodded seriously: "See that big yellow dog over there? I can turn you into its shape."

She drew random lines in the air with her finger, then pointed with both hands: "Change."

Rong Yan was terrified and stammered, "No...no!"

Seeing Su Lenghe pointing at him, his eyes reddened. He didn't want to be a dog.

Su Lenghe reminded her, "You can open the camera now and see what you look like."

Rong Yan panicked and almost dropped his phone. He finally managed to open the camera, but all he saw was his own face. He realized what was happening in an instant.

Su Lenghe was teasing herself!

"Su Lenghe!" Rong Yan felt extremely embarrassed, his cheeks turning bright red.

The big yellow dog next to him snorted and turned its head away in disgust. Rong Yan's face turned even redder. He was actually being mocked for his intelligence by a dog.

Su Lenghe laughed happily, while Rong Yan muttered, "I'm so stupid."

“Fools are often blessed,” Su Lenghe remarked. “Because you retain a childlike heart, you make foolish mistakes and easily trust others. The fact that you’re still making such foolish mistakes at your age means that someone is protecting you.”

Rong Yan's eyes dimmed: "My family has always been very good to me, and my confidence comes entirely from them. The rich kids who are about my age are slowly starting to settle down and prepare to take over the family business, but I don't need to."

"My uncle said that as long as he is around, I can live as I please."

"But my uncle is in such a bad condition right now, and there's nothing I can do about it."

"How could that be? You're not narrowing down the search area."

"But anyone can do that."

"No, only those with the Rong family bloodline can activate the talisman."

With Su Lenghe's comforting words, Rong Yan's mood improved greatly, and the gloom in his heart instantly vanished.

"It's mainly the Rong family; you're the only one who seems to be doing nothing."

Rong Yan's smile froze, cracking into countless pieces...

Su Lenghe and Rong Yan arrived at the shop the jade shop owner had mentioned. The shop had a black wooden door with a black plaque above it, inscribed with the three large characters "Qingfeng Pavilion" in gilded gold.

It doesn't look like a shop; it looks more like someone's home.

With the gate tightly shut, Rong Yan asked in surprise, "Aren't you doing business in broad daylight?"

Su Lenghe quickly scanned the black gate, her gaze finally settling on the plaque.
