Chapter 72 The Ghost Hunt

The people in the live stream were startled by the shout.

What's going on? Who's screaming so pitifully?

Could it be that I've encountered a ghost?

Su Lenghe calculated for a moment and said calmly, "It's nothing, just a little kid, he won't harm anyone."

Why are you so calm? Aren't ghosts scary?

How can someone with a 37-degree mouth utter such cold words?

Master Su will show us how to catch ghosts.

"Bang bang bang!"

A knock came from next door: "Master Su, Master Su!"

Su Lenghe sighed, thinking, "He really is a simpleton; he even knocks on the wrong door."

As Rong Yan opened the door, he was holding up his hand to knock. But when he saw Su Lenghe, he froze for a moment before realizing he had knocked on the wrong door.

The person next to me was sleeping so soundly that they didn't wake up even though the light was on and the knocking was so loud.

Rong Yan said in a flustered tone, "Master Su, I just encountered a ghost."

Su Lenghe asked calmly, "What's going on?"

Rong Yan took a deep breath and slowly said, "I was sleeping just now and dreamed that a woman was wearing a red wedding dress and asked me to marry her. She even handed me a red veil."

"Suddenly she turned into a vengeful ghost and tried to choke my nose. The red veil turned into a rope and strangled my neck. That's when I woke up. I still have marks on my neck from that rope."

Rong Yan showed his neck, where a fresh, purplish-red ligature mark was clearly visible.

[A vengeful ghost is claiming lives!]

The young man is nearing the end of his life.

Why does this young man look so familiar?

Su Lenghe said calmly, "She has taken a liking to you and wants to marry you."

Rong Yan was almost exhausted from crying: "Master Su, please stop joking. I don't want to die. Please help me."

"Let's go take a look," Su Lenghe said with a smile.

Noticing the smile on her lips, Su Lenghe felt that she had changed.

In her past life, she left the mortal world, but now, perhaps because she has stayed in the human world for too long, she has even learned to joke.

However, this feeling is not bad; it makes one feel happy.

Su Lenghe handed her phone to Rong Yan, walked into the room, and looked up at the ceiling.

Rong Yan looked at the empty room, which was completely bare, with nothing in it.

Su Lenghe said, "Come out."

As soon as he finished speaking, a woman dressed in a red wedding gown appeared out of thin air.

Rong Yan's palms were ice-cold, and his hands trembled uncontrollably, causing the camera to shake.

A blurry red shadow appeared on the phone screen.

The live stream wasn't very clear, but its sudden appearance was still chilling.

[This... can't be special effects, right?]

"Hey bro, come closer, let me see if the female ghost has single or double eyelids?"

[Don't shake, look how calm everyone is on the live stream]

When has the streamer ever lost his composure?

Rong Yan wanted to cry but had no tears. He didn't want to tremble, but he was scared. Swallowing his saliva still burned with pain.

Su Lenghe's eyes were slightly cold, aloof and arrogant, yet exuding a sharp aura that looked down upon the world.

Rong Yan's panicked heart gradually calmed down; she always gave people a sense of security.

His eyes sparkled, and he looked at Su Lenghe with utter admiration, wishing he could be like that someday.

Su Lenghe's voice was cold: "This is not a place for you. Why don't you go and reincarnate?"

A pale, distorted face, bloody tears streaming from its eyes, and a long tongue that practically dragged on the ground.

Rong Yan felt a chill and shivered. The viewers in the live stream could only see a blurry red figure, which aroused their curiosity.

What exactly did you see?

I really want to see it live!

Rong Yan is now incredibly envious of those who watch the live stream; they get to see ghosts without getting hurt.

Su Lenghe's expression turned cold: "Have you thought this through?"

"Okay, I understand."

With a wave of her hand, Su Lenghe's red figure vanished instantly.

Rong Yan felt the oppressive feeling vanish instantly, and he asked, "Did the ghost disappear?"

Su Lenghe nodded slightly and took her phone: "Everyone, that's all for today's live stream."

With that, she hung up the phone and said to Rong Yan, "Call the police immediately, there's a body hidden in the ceiling."

Rong Yan's back tensed, and he immediately dialed the police.

When the police arrived, the proprietress stopped them, saying, "What are you doing so late at night? This is my place, you're not allowed in."

She spread her legs and opened her arms, like a door god blocking the entrance.

A young police officer stepped forward: "Someone has called the police. Please cooperate with our work."

The landlady glanced at Rong Yan and said indignantly, "If I had known you had ill intentions, I shouldn't have let you stay. Get out, get out! I don't welcome you! Get out!"

The two sides were locked in a stalemate. Just as the police were about to force their way in, a cold voice rang out: "Are you stopping the police to cover up your crimes?"

The young policeman looked at the person who had just arrived. He had a handsome face, and his eyes, as bright as stars, held a sharp, cold glint in them.

The proprietress's face changed drastically, her voice trembling: "What nonsense are you talking about?"

She stared intently at Su Lenghe, her eyes filled with guilt and inquiry.

How could she know?

Upon hearing of the murder, the police rushed inside. The proprietress tried to stop them but was sternly rebuked by the police: "Citizen, if you obstruct our investigation any further, we will arrest you for obstructing official business!"

Upon hearing this, the proprietress shuddered and, her face pale, stepped aside.

The room was packed with people; it was small enough to be seen in a glance. To be on the safe side, the police searched under the bed and inside the wardrobe thoroughly, but found nothing.

A hint of smugness flashed in the proprietress's eyes: "See? There's nothing here. How am I supposed to do business like this?"
