Su Yan's car and Lin Hui's car left the gate of the Yi family villa one after the other, and Meng Jie slowly lowered the curtains.
Wu Fen knocked on the door and came into the study to bring tea, only to realize that she had been observing the two people talking downstairs the whole time.
She silently placed the tea on the table without leaving.
Meng Jie strolled to the table, picked up her tea, took a sip, and chuckled, "All you do is play those petty tricks, trying to use me to deal with Lin Hui."
Wu Fen was stunned for a moment before realizing that she was referring to Su Yan.
She looked up at Meng Jie and was somewhat surprised to see her smiling face.
She clearly remembered that when Lin Hui tried to use such tricks before, Meng Jie did not react this way.
Isn't this a bit of a double standard?
But Wu Fen only dared to think this in her heart and dared not say it out loud.
"Isn't Madam angry?"
"Why are you angry?" Meng Jie retorted.
"Miss Qi Su took advantage of you!"
Meng Jie smiled indifferently, "It's said that she used me, but did she harm me in any way?"
Wu Fen thought about it carefully and realized that there really wasn't any.
Meng Jie continued, "She's not like that fool Lin Hui, who uses such underhanded methods that she can drive a wedge between father and son. It's not a bad idea to keep a smart woman like Su Yan by Yi An's side."
Wu Fen was taken aback. "Does Madam mean... that she agrees to let Miss Su into the family?"
"What's there to disagree with?" Meng Jie retorted. "Just because her father is Su Xuehao, and because she brought a huge deal to the Yi Group with just one sentence, she can get in through this door."
