Chapter 262 You Have No Martial Morality (shuhaige.net)

"What the hell?!"

Zhao Bo was completely bewildered. "Old man Zhao, have you lost your mind? Where did you get this granddaughter from?!"

After he finished laughing, he suddenly realized something.

"No... Su Xiaoyu is not your granddaughter, she is Su Yan's daughter."

"Su Yan."

Zhao Libai read the name aloud meaningfully, "So my granddaughter's mother is named Su Yan."

Zhao Bo was even more confused.

"no!"

Zhao Libai interrupted him sharply: "What do you mean 'not'! Isn't her mother Su Yan?"

"Su Xiaoyu's mother is indeed Su Yan, but she is not your granddaughter."

Zhao Bo tried his best to explain, but Zhao Libai wouldn't listen to a single word.

"Call the child's mother right now and tell her to come pick you up in person, otherwise neither of you will be able to leave this room."

Zhao Libai issued the order with an air of authority.

Zhao Bo looked at the bodyguards guarding the door; each one was more muscular than the last.

He hesitated for a moment, then slowly stepped forward to negotiate: "I'll pay double what he paid to hire you."

The bodyguard remained motionless, without even a hint of expression.

Zhao Bo gritted his teeth, "Three times!"

The bodyguard still didn't react.

"Four times!!!"

Zhao Bo, suppressing the surge of anger and blood rushing to his head, shouted these words.

But the bodyguards were like wooden stakes, not moving an inch.

"Alright!" Zhao Bo gave them a thumbs up and nodded emphatically. "Since you won't listen to reason, then don't blame me for being impolite!"

He pulled Su Xiaoyu and Yi Kangle aside and repeatedly warned them, "You two must stay far away and protect yourselves. Otherwise, if Uncle uses his powers, he might hurt you."

Yi Kangle glanced at Su Xiaoyu and nodded hesitantly.

After settling the two little ones in, Zhao Bo turned and glared menacingly at the bodyguards.

He took two steps back, his gaze towards the bodyguards gradually hardening.

He kicked his hooves twice like a bull in a fight, shouting loudly as he charged toward the bodyguard.

"ah!!!"

The louder he shouted, the faster he charged.

The bodyguard remained expressionless as he watched him, but just as the bodyguard was about to make contact, he deftly dodged to the side.

Zhao Bo looked at the suddenly brightened road ahead, but it was too late to brake. The determination on his face was quickly replaced by panic.

The moment he fell headfirst out, Yi Kangle covered his face in fear.

There was a dull thud, as if something heavy had fallen to the ground. Yi Kangle tentatively lowered his hand and peered outside.

Su Xiaoyu showed a hint of disgust on her face, "Let's go eat instead."

She took Yi Kangle's hand and walked slowly toward the restaurant, not even giving Zhao Bo a sympathetic look.

Zhao Bo was carried into the house by bodyguards and thrown onto the sofa.

He sniffed, his eyes immediately welling up with tears. He accused him, his voice filled with grievance: "You have no sportsmanship!"

Zhao Bo reluctantly took out his phone from his pocket and called Su Yan.

"Su Yan, please come and save me!" he cried, pleading for help.

When Su Yan arrived, Zhao Bo was staring at two little traitors at the dinner table.

Su Xiaoyu glanced at him, then pointed to the green vegetables in front of her and said sweetly to Zhao Libai, "Grandpa, I want to eat this."

Zhao Libai's face was beaming with joy. "Oh, our Xiaoyu wants to eat vegetables? Grandpa will get them for her right away."

Zhao Libai picked up a piece of green vegetable and playfully twirled his chopsticks.

"Here comes the little airplane, Xiaoyu caught it."

Su Xiaoyu opened her mouth wide, and Zhao Libai gently placed the greens into her mouth.

"Oh my, our little Yu is so great!"

Yi Kangle, watching from the side, also hurriedly reached out his hand.

"Grandpa, Grandpa! I want to eat this too!"

"Oh dear, our little one wants some too! Grandpa will get some for him right away!"

Zhao Bo listened to Zhao Libai's strange, high-pitched voice, and looked at his fierce-looking face, yet he insisted on acting cute. He really wanted to wash his eyes.

Su Yan and Yi An saw this scene as soon as they entered the door.

Su Yan called out, "Xiao Yu!"

Su Xiaoyu immediately turned her head, saw her, and forgot about Zhao Libai. She ran over happily and buried her head in Su Yan's arms.

Zhao Libai's chopsticks were still suspended in mid-air. He turned his head with some dissatisfaction. The moment he touched Su Yan, he was like a volcano about to erupt, suddenly covered by a spring snow. The spring snow turned into a trickle, and the fire was extinguished.

"Are you Xiaoyu's mother?"

"Yes, Uncle, hello."

Su Yan greeted them politely.

Zhao Libai put down his chopsticks and walked over. He looked Su Yan up and down, and the more he looked, the more satisfied he became.

He had initially thought that if Xiaoyu's mother was some kind of disreputable woman, he could simply give her some money to get rid of her. But he hadn't expected that he was just overthinking things.

Seeing his strange look, Yi An tentatively began, "Uncle Zhao, it's been so long..."

Before he could finish saying the word "see," Zhao Libai interrupted him with disdain.

"Don't speak yet."

"Huh?" Yi An was stunned.

Zhao Libai nodded in satisfaction again, and asked with a gentle expression, "How old are you? What do you do for a living? Are your parents doing well?"

Su Yan was completely bewildered by the three questions.

"ah·····"

She looked to Yi An for help, and Yi An, noticing her gaze, immediately said, "Uncle Zhao, I..."

Zhao Libai interrupted impatiently again: "I told you not to speak!"

When he turned to look at Su Yan, his expression returned to its kind and amiable state.

Yi'an almost suspected that he had studied Peking Opera face-changing.

Zhao Bo walked over sullenly and asked loudly, "Now that everyone's here, can I leave?"

Zhao Libai remained silent, staring intently at the two people standing side by side.

He looked at Zhao Bo, then at Su Yan, and finally at Su Xiaoyu. He only had two words to describe this family of three: Amazing!

Yi An sensed the subtle atmosphere and cautiously took a step closer to Su Yan.

"Uncle Zhao, may I speak now?"

He asked tentatively, but Zhao Libai immediately pushed him away.

Yi An reluctantly tried to get closer again, but the result was the same; Zhao Libai pushed her away without any mercy once more.

"Okay, okay!"

Zhao Libai watched them clap and laugh.

Su Yan gave an awkward laugh and turned to Zhao Bo, asking in a low voice, "What's so good about it?"

Before Zhao Bo could answer, Zhao Libai grabbed Su Yan's hand.

"Miss Su, please bring Xiaoyu to visit me more often when you have time. Don't worry, as long as I'm here, this kid will never bully you!"

He pointed at Zhao Bo and assured him.

Su Yan was completely bewildered and could only force a smile and nod, "Thank you so much, Uncle."
