In just a moment, his mind went completely blank.

Su Yan was startled, as if she had made a mistake, and immediately withdrew her hand, carefully hugging it to her chest.

She lowered her head and said shyly in a low voice, "It was my fault."

Before she could finish speaking, she was too embarrassed to continue, her head hanging low and her ears turning bright red.

Yi An cleared her throat, glanced at her, and felt a secret delight in her heart, but she still maintained a serious expression.

"fine."

He kept saying he was fine, but his hand, which was reaching for the power switch, was trembling honestly.

With a "click," all the lights suddenly turned on, and the whole house was instantly as bright as day.

Having grown accustomed to darkness, the sudden light left Yi An somewhat at a loss for what to do.

He rubbed his hands together, pretending to be casual, and said, "It's nothing, I'll head back now. Call me if anything comes up, my house is just across the street."

Su Yan nodded shyly and said in a soft voice, "Thank you for your help today, Mr. Yi. Let me see you out."

The two left the house one after the other, and Yi An turned back and waved awkwardly.

"Then I'll head back."

Before he could take two steps, Su Yan suddenly called out to him again.

"President Yi!"

"Um?"

Yi'an turned around, puzzled.

Su Yan smiled sweetly and said, "I don't want to call you President Yi anymore."

After saying that, she turned and ran into the house.

Yi'an was left standing there, stunned and bewildered, not yet realizing what had happened.

After a while, he slowly raised his hand, covered his chest, felt his rapidly beating heart, and sighed deeply.

"It's over, we've fallen."
