After thinking for a long time, the principal still felt that before Chang Zishi's parents arrived, they should talk to the children to find out what had happened.
He looked at Yi Kangle, who was sitting obediently on the bench, waiting to be questioned, and then glanced at Su Xiaoyu, who was focused on painting and didn't even look at him.
Suddenly, I realized that my decision to bring Yi Kangle here was a wise one.
"Can you tell me why Xiaoyu put the mouse in Zishi's blanket?"
He asked patiently and persuasively.
Upon hearing the question, Yi Kangle subconsciously turned to look at Su Xiaoyu. Seeing that she had no reaction, he hesitated before saying, "Because that dead rat belonged to Chang Zishi."
"Changzi Stone?"
The principal was clearly surprised by this answer.
"Why is it his?"
Yi Kangle lowered his head, like a child who had made a mistake.
“He put it in my schoolbag. Xiaoyu did it for me. Principal, please don’t scold Xiaoyu. If you have to scold someone, scold me.”
Hearing this, the kindergarten director had a general understanding of the situation.
He glanced in Su Xiaoyu's direction, then smiled and patted Yi Kangle's head.
“You are all honest and good children, how could I possibly scold you? Okay, you can play here.”
He stood up, and as he turned around, his expression became somewhat solemn.
He walked slowly out of the classroom with his hands behind his back and said to the teacher on duty at the front desk, "Teacher Su, could you go to the security room and get me some surveillance footage?"
No sooner had he finished speaking than a figure rushed in through the door.
Teacher Su was taken aback for a moment, then immediately asked, "Who are you?"
The figure didn't linger, but charged straight into the depths of the corridor, glancing around at each classroom it entered.
Teacher Su and the principal exchanged a glance and hurriedly chased after them.
"Madam, whose parent are you?"
Without answering a word, the woman turned around and angrily asked, "Where is Su Xiaoyu?"
Teacher Su was startled and subconsciously glanced at the classroom where Su Xiaoyu was.
Are you Su Xiaoyu's parent?
The woman naturally didn't miss that look; she glared at the classroom and stormed over in a rage.
Teacher Su's heart skipped a beat, and she rushed over with the principal.
The woman kicked open the classroom door, startling Yi Kangle and Su Xiaoyu inside.
Her gaze swept back and forth between Yi Kangle and Su Xiaoyu before finally settling on Su Xiaoyu.
She grabbed Su Xiaoyu's arm and pulled her over.
"You're Su Xiaoyu? The Su Xiaoyu who bullied my son?"
Her sharp nails pierced Su Xiaoyu's delicate skin, leaving red marks on her arm.
Su Xiaoyu frowned slightly because of the pain, but didn't say a word.
To a woman, this demeanor is tantamount to acquiescence.
She was furious; her eyes were practically spitting fire.
"You bastard who was born of a mother but raised by no father!"
Unable to control her emotions, the woman raised her hand and slapped Su Xiaoyu.
The loud "smack" startled Yi Kangle, who was standing nearby in fear, as well as the kindergarten director and Teacher Su, who rushed in in a panic.
A clear handprint appeared on Su Xiaoyu's face, and her delicate face immediately turned red.
Even so, Su Xiaoyu didn't utter a sound, her eyes turned cold as she stared intently at the woman in front of her.
The woman was provoked by her gaze, "You dare glare at me again!"
She was just about to slap him again, her hand barely raised, when the headmaster grabbed it.
The woman turned around angrily and saw that the person standing behind her was the kindergarten director.
"Chang Zishi's mother, let's sit down and talk things over. Why hit a child?"
The woman snorted angrily, forcefully shook off the principal's hand, and walked out of the classroom in her high heels.
The principal let out a long sigh of relief, glanced at Su Xiaoyu, and instructed Teacher Su, "Take the two children to the infirmary."
Still in a daze, Teacher Su nodded blankly, then quickly walked to Su Xiaoyu's side and looked her up and down with concern.
Are you alright?
Su Xiaoyu's chest heaved violently, and her small hand loosened, causing a paintbrush to fall to the ground with a "thud".
The woman sat down on the sofa in the principal's office without any hesitation and got straight to the point before the principal could speak.
"You must give me a reasonable explanation for this!"
The headmistress paused for a moment, then turned and closed the door. She walked in with a smile, poured her a glass of water, and slowly said, "You must be Ms. Gao, Chang Zishi's mother?"
He glanced at the school's records beforehand to learn about Chang Zishi's family situation.
Gao Shuyun didn't even glance at the water in front of her. "Give me an explanation for this. Su Xiaoyu must get out of the kindergarten!"
The kindergarten director smiled slightly as he listened to her extreme words.
"Don't talk about it so soon. Let's wait for Su Xiaoyu's mother to arrive so we can talk to each other before discussing this matter."
Upon hearing this, Gao Shuyun immediately let out a cold laugh.
"Great! I'd love to see what kind of parents raise a child like this!"
Su Yan received a call from the kindergarten and rushed over in a hurry. Before she could even see Su Xiaoyu, she was taken to the principal's office by the teacher.
"Hello, Principal."
She had just finished greeting the principal when she noticed a woman sitting on the sofa.
She paused for a moment, then immediately guessed the woman's identity.
"Is this Chang Zishi's mother? Hello."
Su Yan smiled and extended her hand, but Gao Shuyun acted as if she hadn't seen her at all, not even glancing at her.
The kindergarten director, noticing the awkward atmosphere, stepped in to defuse the situation.
"Xiaoyu's mom, please sit here."
Su Yan awkwardly withdrew her hand and sat down opposite Gao Shuyun.
"I should have a proper talk with both of you about this matter."
The principal had barely finished speaking when Gao Shuyun interrupted him without any politeness.
"No need. I already know the whole story. It was her daughter who bullied our son, and this dead rat is the evidence."
She pointed to the dead rat on the table and said indignantly.
Su Yan glanced at the gruesome dead rat on the table. Even she herself was a little frightened when she suddenly saw it, let alone a child.
Given Su Xiaoyu's personality, she does seem capable of doing something like that, but...
She turned to the headmaster and said, "I'd like to know if there have been any conflicts between them before? Although Xiaoyu has a bit of a unique personality, she's not the type to cause trouble randomly."
These words hit the nail on the head. Just as the principal was about to speak, Gao Shuyun interrupted her again.
She stood up angrily because of Su Yan's words, pointed at her and started cursing: "What do you mean by that? So our Zishi deserved to be beaten? And your Xiaoyu was a hero? I get it now, the reason why this child grew up like this is all because of a mother like you!"
