The man's eyes grew increasingly intense, and Song Mai's hands, pressed against his chest, felt like they were on hot coals, making her palms burn.
Chu Xing, however, had no intention of stopping there. After leaving her lips, the man leaned close to her ear and breathed softly, his breath spraying onto Song Mai's earlobe, making her ear turn as red as if it were about to bleed.
Desire, so much desire.
She would believe it if the man said he was a male fox spirit from a storybook.
"Get up..."
Her voice was as soft as a mosquito's buzz, filled with deep shyness.
Chu Xing chuckled softly:
"We haven't even gotten to the main point yet."
As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly bit Song Mai's earlobe and gently licked it. His teeth would occasionally touch her earlobe, making her feel itchy and causing her whole body to tremble.
“Chu Xing…” she gritted her teeth.
The man seemed quite satisfied with her reaction. Although Song Mai couldn't see his expression, she could hear the laughter in his voice.
"What's wrong?"
Without pausing, his lips traced Song Mai's earlobe down to her neck, then lingered on the woman's beautiful swan-like neck, leaving one mark after another that belonged to him.
Song Mai's face was flushed, and fine beads of sweat appeared on her forehead. She was so weak that she had no strength left.
"I was wrong, I was really wrong..."
She pleaded, but her voice sounded like a cat scratching at his heart.
Not only did they not let him off the hook, they even wanted more.
Her eyes seemed to be veiled with a layer of mist, hazy and unclear, yet exceptionally moving.
"Oh? But I haven't done anything yet, why are you begging for mercy?"
The man propped his head up with one hand, looking down at her with a seductive lust in his eyes.
The next moment, Song Mai felt a chill on his chest as the second button of his shirt was silently undone.
A silent roar escaped Song Mai's lips.
[Oh my god! Is this trying to kill me?! I'm not ready at all!]
The man looked at her, smiling and talking, having already heard the woman's thoughts perfectly.
However, Chu Xing did not stop there; his long, beautiful hand had already placed the third button.
In a moment of desperation, Song Mai disregarded everything else and immediately shouted:
"My period isn't over yet!"
"Pfft—"
The man couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Fine, I'll let you off this time."
As he spoke, he got up from the sofa and slowly straightened his suit, appearing demure and aloof, a stark contrast to his earlier demeanor.
The blush on Song Mai's face lingered for a long time, and it took her a while to finally come to her senses.
When do we set off?
Only after she had completely calmed down did she speak, somewhat awkwardly.
The man glanced at the time:
"Now, but you'd better cover it up."
Song Mai asked, puzzled, "What?"
Chu Xing pointed to her neck. Song Mai looked down and saw that her neck was covered with red marks, which looked quite suggestive.
"Chu Xing! Look what you've done!"
She was so angry she jumped up and down. How could she possibly face Old Master Chu now?
This is incredibly embarrassing!
The man remained remarkably calm, smoothing out the two creases pressed into his shirt as he nonchalantly remarked:
“My grandfather is very open-minded, so don’t worry about it.”
Song Mai's face was ashen. Was this an enlightened thing to do?
If it were earlier, she could have found an excuse to have dinner together another day, but it was already this late and it wouldn't be appropriate to refuse now. Besides, Grandpa Chu had always been so kind to her, and she wanted to put his mind at ease as soon as possible.
So, out of desperation, Song Mai chose a high-necked long-sleeved shirt. Although it was a bit hot, it was enough to cover her up as long as she didn't move around too much, so she wouldn't attract attention on the street.
"Let's go."
Song Mai fanned herself with a small fan. It was only early autumn, and the weather hadn't gotten cold yet. She could still wear summer clothes during the day, but she had to dress like this to cover the marks on her neck, which made her extremely hot.
Chu Xing leaned against the refrigerator and looked at her:
"You don't have to do this."
Song Mai didn't say anything, but glared at him fiercely and then strode away.
Ultimately, Chu Xing is the culprit. He said there was no need for her to do this, but if it weren't for him, why would she need to do this?
Song Mai rode his electric scooter towards the restaurant that Grandpa Chu had booked.
Chu Xing sat behind her. He tried to speak to her several times along the way, but Song Mai ignored him, clearly not wanting to talk to him.
The wind tousled her hair, causing the woman's long hair to dance in the wind, and Song Mai felt that the heat had dissipated somewhat.
But his anger towards Chu Xing had not lessened in the slightest.
Knowing that she was injured, Grandpa Chu specially booked a restaurant that served medicinal cuisine. Although it was not as large as the last restaurant, it was still clear that it was quite expensive.
As soon as Grandpa Chu saw Song Mai, he didn't even bother to take out his cane and quickly walked up to Song Mai.
"Wheat, how are you? Have you fully recovered?"
Song Mai felt a warmth in her heart, and a feeling of being cared for welled up inside her, which moved her deeply.
"Grandpa Chu, don't worry, I'm all better now. Look at me, I'm full of energy, just like before."
Looking at Song Mai's smiling face, Old Master Chu couldn't help but feel a little sore in his wrinkled eyes.
This girl has clearly suffered so much, yet she acts as if it's nothing, and instead comforts this old man.
Thinking of this, Old Master Chu felt extremely distressed.
"It's all that brat's fault! He can't even protect you properly. I'm going to teach him a lesson for you!"
Upon hearing this, Song Mai quickly advised:
“That’s not how it is, Grandpa Chu. He’s already very good. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t know where I would be now. Please don’t blame him.”
The two stood at the restaurant entrance talking, neither of them showing any intention of going inside.
As it grew increasingly late, Chu Xing urged, "Let's go inside quickly; she's still injured."
Upon hearing this, Old Master Chu quickly said, "I was careless. Let's go inside right away."
When they were talking at the restaurant entrance, backlit, Old Master Chu didn't notice anything amiss. It wasn't until he entered the restaurant that he realized something was wrong.
Although Song Mai had put on some makeup, her lips were still noticeably red and swollen. Moreover, the weather wasn't cold, yet she was wearing a high-necked shirt, which looked stuffy and hot. Upon closer inspection, it wasn't hard to see the faint red marks peeking out from the collar.
Old Master Chu could tell at a glance that there was something unusual between the two. Although he didn't say anything, he silently patted Chu Xing on the shoulder.
His expression seemed to say, "Good job, kid!"
At the same time, he couldn't help but feel a little smug.
As the saying goes, experience is the best teacher. Chu Xing was so adamant before that he would only get married for a year and then divorce if things didn't work out. But now, less than half a year has passed and the two of them have already progressed to this point. It seems that his wish to have a grandson will soon come true.
