Chapter 216 Humiliation, the Nobility of the Elf

Leon placed one hand on her chest.

"I……"

Viktor's words made her tremble slightly.

Surname.

For elves, surnames are very important.

A person's surname determines their duties and identity.

Cleon herself does not have a surname.

As the head of the family, Victor has the power to bestow surnames upon outsiders.

Unlike the elves, who could only wait for the divine tree to bestow its blessings.

In human society, nobles are allowed to do this.

Leon lowered her head, the words "Clavenna" echoing in her mind.

This is something even Miss Lia couldn't give her.

Before this, Leon and Victor were not familiar with each other and had only met a few times.

Although it only happened a few times, each time it left a deep impression on her.

Even so, Leon's impression of Victor was by no means good.

At least, those few things were not enough to change Leon's bad impression of Victor that she had developed since childhood.

However, why did he...?

Victor put his hands in his pockets, glanced back at Leon, and offered no further explanation:

"If you still have any questions, go ask Lia when you get back."

Then, he turned his back to the fluorescent blue passageway.

"But now, I want you to use your current surname."

As Viktor stepped over the towering rune trees, blue ripples spread out following his footprints, resembling a vast blue lake suspended in mid-air.

A bright, full moon hung in the night sky, illuminating the entire lake surface and making it sparkle like stars.

The wind whipped Viktor's black trench coat, causing it to sway wildly in the moonlight.

"Then, follow me."

As soon as he finished speaking, Victor reached out his hand, and Kokot below immediately floated up.

He reached out, grabbed Cocotte's clothes, and lifted her up.

This lazy elf truly lived up to its name, managing to fall asleep even in such a short time.

When Viktor brought it up, she finally woke up, blinked, and felt her body inexplicably floating in the air, which made her stunned.

"Hmm? Haven't we reached the Elf Forest yet?"

Victor lowered his head and glanced at Cocotte.

"We'll be there soon."

Following the surface of the lake, leaving a long, sky-blue trail, Victor and Kokot's bodies disappeared together into the deep blue passage.

The white cloud hurriedly followed Viktor and disappeared inside.

Leon was left alone. She looked up at the deep and mysterious blue passage, her feelings incredibly complicated.

Her golden hair danced in the wind, each strand distinct and flowing gracefully.

'family. '

This word was too distant for her.

Even though Lia gave her a name, she never imagined that she could become Lia's family.

In Leon's eyes, Leah was like an untouchable star, extremely dazzling.

That was the white moonlight in her heart, the person she was determined to protect for the rest of her life.

Leon placed her hand on her chest and took a deep breath.

"I am willing to live on the name you gave me."

With a determined look in her eyes, she stepped onto the rippling blue lake.

Amidst the ripples, with resolute yet heavy steps, we too entered the dark blue tunnel.

As the three disappeared, the surroundings gradually calmed down.

The raging wind gradually subsided, leaving only the reflection of an enormous divine tree, piercing through the heavens and earth, scattering silver light.

Countless stars dotted the edge of the vast blue lake, their silvery light gradually calming the rippling surface.

...

The Forest of Elves.

Sturdy and lush trees rise from the lawn, their dense foliage gradually covering the golden sunlight, which filters through and makes the petals sway in the air.

The morning dew sparkled with a crystalline light, hanging upside down on the branches and blades of grass. The gray stones were also imbued with a damp scent, and petals peeked out from the crevices.

A pair of eyes were fixed intently on the ever-growing flower, filled with extreme curiosity.

Only when the flowers are fully open do a pair of sapphire-like eyes peek out from among the weeds.

Above those blue gemstones was an extremely cute face, with her long golden hair piled high and a pair of pointed ears showing.

She picked the newly grown flowers and placed them in the woven wooden basket. Turning her head, she saw countless elves with pointed ears, just like herself, playing and frolicking in the forest.

Some hung upside down on the branches to drink the dew, while others climbed to the top of the tree to pick fruit.

Some, being lazy, hid behind rocks, lay among wildflowers, and fell into a deep sleep.

Even when seen by others, they remain indifferent.

One of the fruit-picking elves suddenly called out to the other elves:

That's enough!

As soon as the words were spoken, all the sleeping elves stood up. The elves who had been gathering dew landed on the ground and all of them crossed the forest in unison, arriving at a clearing.

As the golden light gradually faded, a colossal tree, studded with silver stars, stood in the center of a continent, coming into view of the elves.

The tree roots stretch for hundreds of miles, weaving together into a vast, crisscrossing network, like an endless vein of life.

It's as if silvery-white stars are adorning the tree trunk, slender and elegant, like the stars in the sky twinkling faintly among the branches.

None of them said another word; they all knelt down devoutly before the giant tree and began their morning prayers.
