Chapter 260 Where is my teacher?

The sun was shining brightly today, and the Royal Magic Academy was bustling with activity early in the morning.

The students gathered here, and all the roads in the college were packed with people, but everyone's face was filled with the joy of anticipation.

Today is the opening ceremony of the Royal Magic Academy.

The college's freshman entrance exams have concluded.

This year's freshman assessment was more rigorous and demanding than ever before.

As a result, the number of students admitted to the college this year is less than one-third of that in previous years.

Inside the spacious lecture hall, a lectern stands on a wooden platform, flanked by massive pillars concealed by red curtains.

Thick, pleated curtains came from both sides toward the middle and joined together.

The hall was packed with professors and students, all their eyes fixed on the freshman leader, Aurelian.

She not only achieved a perfect score in the written test, but also ranked first in the practical assessment.

Aurelion also performed exceptionally well in the dungeon.

As the top student, Aurelione stood at the podium, facing the audience, speaking with poise and composure.

Her extraordinary temperament amazed everyone.

The students below the stage looked at Aurelion with even greater admiration.

"...Finally, I would like to thank my teacher, Count Victor Clavner."

As she said this, a strong magical aura emanated from Aurelion's body.

Like waves, it began to ripple throughout the lecture hall, sweeping over everyone's bodies.

The air in the lecture hall began to become restless, with gusts of air constantly circulating throughout the hall, lifting the two huge curtains behind the podium as if a pair of giant hands were waving them in the air.

"This is....."

The professors, lecturers, and students in the audience were stunned by the powerful magic emanating from the stage, their eyes wide with disbelief.

Second-tier mage.

The entire lecture hall erupted into chaos, with countless people nearly unable to remain seated as they exclaimed their discoveries to those around them.

"Your Highness, you're already a second-tier mage?!"

"Is this a dream? A second-tier mage? He's already a second-tier mage right after entering the school?"

"The princess is only fifteen years old and she's already a second-tier mage? I really am a complete waste!"

This talent is almost on par with the former Viktor.

The academy's youngest second-tier mage has changed; Erica has become Princess.

Many students were surprised, but also felt a greater sense of responsibility on their shoulders.

Erica didn't have a second-tier class when she first enrolled.

Why is it that things get even more absurd when it comes to the princess?

It gets more outrageous every year; how are ordinary magic apprentices supposed to survive?

Aurelion stood on the stage, placed one hand on her chest, and bowed deeply to Victor below the stage.

Viktor, sitting in the audience, smiled slightly at Aurelion and nodded in acknowledgment.

"Thank you for your careful guidance, teacher."

Everyone stood up, their gazes fixed on Aurelion, filled with silence and awe.

Thunderous applause erupted, as if celebrating Aurelion's success.

...

Even after the opening ceremony ended, there were still many students in the college.

The cobblestone path was shaded by dappled leaf shadows, and messy footsteps trod through the dappled sunlight as people gathered together, discussing the interesting things that happened during the assessment and the exciting scene from not long ago.

Aurelion strolled along the cobblestone path, stepping across the interplay of light and shadow.

Whenever a student passed by her, they would steal a few glances at her.

After all, they are royalty.

It's difficult for anyone not to notice Aurelion.

Because she was the only one going to school, and she was accompanied by a bodyguard.

Celia followed behind Aurelion, protecting her at all times.

As they walked, Aurelion asked:

“Celia.”

"Your Highness, please give your instructions."

Celia bowed respectfully and replied.

Aurelion turned to her and asked:

Have you seen my teacher?

Aurelion was very pleased after three days of dungeon testing.

She performed exceptionally well in the dungeon, ranking first in the entire school in both written tests and practical assessments.

Aurelion particularly wanted to tell Victor about this in person, alone.

But that was in the lecture hall, and Aurelion, as the top freshman, had to speak on stage.

Even though Viktor was right in front of her, she couldn't bring herself to speak to her teacher.

So after she got out, she was eager to find Victor.

Aurelion wanted to know if Professor Victor had been watching her all along.

Although all she wanted was Victor's praise and approval, that alone was enough to fill Aurelion with immense anticipation.

Upon hearing the princess's question, Celia pondered for a moment.

Victor, that bastard?

She did see a flashy guy in a trench coat leave the lecture hall in a hurry.

He's the only jerk who'd wear a trench coat in this sweltering heat.

After recalling for a moment, Celia said to Aurelion:

“I just saw him leave through the main entrance.”

Upon receiving the news, Aurelion didn't hesitate and quickly ran towards the main gate.

Having undergone professional training, Aurelion's physical strength surpasses that of many mages.

When Aurelion ran to the front door, she was barely out of breath.

She turned her head and looked around, searching for Viktor's figure.

The next second, Aurelion saw the iconic carriage without horses pulling it.
