Chapter 552 Go and get rid of Death.

The massive, bronze-colored castle stood silently on a patch of scorched earth.

Countless blue ghosts swirled around the castle, their long bodies twisting and writhing in the air.

This is the place where countless souls of the dead are imprisoned in the underworld.

A deep, deathly silence enveloped the entire castle, making it resemble an incredibly secure prison, constantly exuding an aura of majesty.

However, in stark contrast...

Surprisingly, countless vibrant green wildflowers and grasses grew on the scorched earth surrounding the castle.

A strong sense of vitality rises from this land, as if it were an oasis enveloped in the breath of life.

The stark contrast between the deathly stillness and the vibrant energy created a strange and striking effect.

This scorched land was also affected by the terrifying magic unleashed by Victor.

However, because it is located at the bottom of Hell, it is less affected than the final trial ground at the top of the Underworld.

In addition, the location's sturdiness ensured that the surface of the copper fortress remained virtually undamaged.

But the original desolate hellish style has now become like a lush garden.

Erica stared at the scene before her, and couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

No wonder Hades looked so angry.

She couldn't imagine what kind of impact Professor Victor's magic had had on the entire underworld.

As Erica approached the desolate castle, she saw several undead soldiers standing on either side of the bronze castle gate.

They stood solemnly on the scorched earth, clad in armor and composed of the souls of the dead.

Upon seeing someone approaching, they instinctively formed an array to block them.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be Erica.

It was that human hero!

This human hero has recently caused a great sensation in the underworld.

Even these soldiers of the dead, far removed from the upper realms of the underworld, had heard of her great name.

They all bowed to Erica in unison, their eyes filled with admiration.

'Are you the human hero who defeated Lord Hades?'

'Looking so young up close, it's amazing...'

The voice of the dead, like an ethereal reverberation, gradually reached Erica's ears.

Trials are one of the few pleasures in this hell.

Once the trial begins, these souls will be able to enjoy spectacular scenes every day.

The souls who have remained in the underworld know this very well.

The trial challenge lasted for a full hundred years.

Over the course of a hundred years, Hades attracted 100,000 humans, but only the last 1,000 passed the trial.

Each of these 100,000 people is a powerful figure in the human world.

Having undergone such a rigorous selection process, the souls of the dead gained a more solid understanding of the value of the Hell Trials.

Therefore, human heroes who can pass the trials of hell will naturally be respected and worshipped by all the dead.

Erica had grown accustomed to the reverence of the dead, after all, she was regarded as a hero by almost all the souls in the underworld.

However, she still felt a little nervous and at a loss when faced with the two little devils so close to her.

After all, is it really possible for her to defeat Hades, the god of the underworld?

Erica is still unable to explain it, since it was indeed something Professor Victor did while possessing her.

Therefore, she could only nod politely, feeling a little guilty.

The undead soldiers were also curious, so they turned to Erica and asked her questions:

"But why did you come here?"

“This is a place where the souls of the dead are imprisoned. As a human, you should not be here.”

Those imprisoned in this bronze castle at the lowest level are all souls who committed serious crimes in their lifetime and were severely punished.

Erica stood there, listening to the questions, her mind racing to find the right answers.

Oh dear... what reason can I give to explain this?

Professor Victor also did not show up to give her any hints.

Just as Erica was deep in thought, a cold and deep voice suddenly sounded beside her:

“Let her in. She’s here to understand the souls of those ‘losers’.”

Erica was startled by the sound and turned to look in the direction it came from.

Beside her was a floating, illusory soul.

This spirit was draped in a dry, black cloak like withered leaves, from which emerged a pair of pale, enormous wings.

Its lower body was hidden in the void of black smoke, which continued to rise.

An extremely long silver scythe extended from the cloak.

The back of the scythe was wrapped in a thick, black fluid, and the tip of the blade seemed to open a dark eye.

This mysterious being was so enigmatic that even its gender was hard to discern, but its appearance sent a chill down Erica's spine at first glance.

I couldn't help but get goosebumps all over my body.

A profound stillness enveloped her, as if she had fallen into a cold, icy abyss.

The surroundings were filled with wreckage that exuded the aura of death, a chilling sight.

The two little devils who received the order behaved very respectfully.

They bowed deeply to the ethereal spirit, then stepped aside to make way for Erica.

"Yes, Lord Death!"

Boom boom boom—

With a series of heavy dragging sounds and a slight tremor of the earth, the huge, black bronze door slowly opened.

Erica finally came to her senses when a cold wind rushed out from inside the door.

grim Reaper?

Is this also a god?

Seeing that Erica was still standing there in a daze, the illusory spirit began to urge her:
