Chapter 578 The Story of Three Gods, Yet I Am Unworthy of Love

As Victor had expected, Nyx finally couldn't resist and summoned him to the Dark Mansion.

This is precisely why Nyx's actions provoked Hades' anger.

Their actions crossed Hades' bottom line, ultimately prompting Hades to take action against these supreme gods.

In all of this, Viktor merely played a role in facilitating things.

After all, Hades, the god of justice, would never allow Nyx to arbitrarily change the rules of the trials in the underworld.

Erica has undergone numerous trials, and through countless battles, she has found the best way to cope.

Therefore, in order to trap Victor, Nyx must conspire with Tartarus to alter the contents of the Hell Trials.

Starting the trial requires Tartarus to alter the terrain of the Underworld, so Tartarus can completely disregard Hades' rules.

Nyx could then send her 'children' to those closed trial sites to replace the trial content.

The underworld god she had previously defeated reappeared before her, this time with an extreme determination for revenge.

They were convinced that Erica would not be able to pass under such pressure.

Tartarus, naturally unwilling to be constantly attacked under Victor's magical bombardment, simply agreed with Nyx's suggestion.

The two supreme gods discussed it and decided that the plan was feasible, so they immediately got to work.

They figured that if Hades found out, the worst that could happen was that they would have to apologize to him.

After all, Hades had always shown great respect to these supreme gods.

That's why Nyx never expected it.

Hades, who usually treats them with such respect, becomes so enraged and out of control because of a change in the content of a trial.

Although Persephone's instigation played a significant role in this.

So Hades, filled with rage, broke through the underworld and went straight to the top of Hell, where he found the innocent Erebus.

If it weren't for Nyx's machinations, and Erica had participated in the trials as normal, they might still have been able to maintain peace with Hades.

"It was your stubbornness that caused all of this."

"You only have yourself to blame."

Upon hearing these words, Nyx finally seemed to yield, lowering his head as noble as a god.

She could ignore the injuries and pain she suffered while fighting Viktor and continue to entangle him, trapping him here.

But Nyx could not stand idly by while Erebus faced a crisis.

This was not only because of her love for Erebus, but also because of their shared unity.

Erebus is her life, her brain, the core at which all their souls intertwine.

Then, for the first time, Nyx's voice trembled.

“Erebus was not involved in this; he is innocent. Please let him go.”

"Then who will let us go?"

Viktor's cold laughter swept by like a biting north wind, causing Nyx to lower his head in silence.

Once the trial begins, no one can stop it.

This is also an ironclad rule of the underworld.

Unless the human girl chooses to give up.

But if she concedes defeat in the trial, it means she will never be able to leave the underworld.

"Besides, whether or not I let him go is not something I can decide."

Hearing Victor's words, Nyx finally came to her senses.

She understood that Hades had approached Erebus in anger, and that it had nothing to do with Victor.

But she cannot leave; she must abide by the rules of the underworld…

No... at least, just this once.

Nyx took a deep breath and gave Victor one last, profound look.

Immediately afterwards, her body slowly rose, her ethereal, nebulous robes cascading downwards, and she gradually disappeared into the dark night sky above.

As night deepened, her enormous figure gradually disappeared into the sky.

It transformed into a deep, dark nebula and dissipated into the boundless night sky.

Nyx, the goddess of night, has left the Mansion of Night for the first time.

She crossed her bottom line in this way.

In that instant, because of Nyx's departure, the darkness shrouding the Dark Mansion vanished.

The deep darkness suddenly shattered, and blinding daylight poured in wildly after tearing open a crack.

For a moment, what came into Viktor's view was the majestic snow-capped mountain.

And there was the vast, pale sky, like a white ocean stretching across this space for thousands of miles.

Victor calmly watched Nyx disappear into the horizon, his gaze gradually descending from the high sky.

She looked toward the massive, pitch-black door where she had originally been standing.

The incredibly sturdy door looked eerie and striking in the bright daylight.

In particular, the top of the door is painted with a totem of the goddess of the night surrounded by stars.

Passing through this door will lead you to the heart of hell—the heart of Tartarus.

Viktor leaped from the stars, crossed the invisible bridge, and arrived at this enormous forbidden gate.

He stretched out his hand, enveloped in hellfire, and gently touched the massive, black door.

His eyes flashed with a fierce light, like a raging storm.

"Tartarus, the embodiment of hell."

Viktor muttered calmly to himself:

"Now, I'm here to collect the interest I'm owed."
