Chapter 649 Does having a fiancée mean you can't steal her?

Inheritance?

This word caused Vladimir and Hera, who were standing nearby, to look puzzled.

Viktor was asking about Erica's whereabouts, but Reeves replied that she was receiving a legacy.

This seems to be a bit of an irrelevant answer.

However, Viktor alone showed no doubt, and instead immediately asked a more specific question:

"The Temple of Inheritance?"

Immediately, Levi's pupils contracted slightly, and the tense atmosphere froze instantly.

But he quickly relaxed and a thoughtful smile appeared on his face.

"I didn't expect that you actually knew."

“I thought that even if you were very knowledgeable about calamities, you couldn’t possibly know about this.”

Viktor simply smiled and responded gracefully:

“I already said, Your Grace.”

"What I know is far beyond your imagination."

This enigmatic conversation puzzled everyone else present, but Victor quickly continued:

"Although you didn't tell me Erica's exact location directly, that's enough to satisfy my request."

As he spoke, he gracefully placed one hand on his chest and gave Levi a slight bow, displaying his gentlemanly demeanor.

"Then, it's a pleasure to work with you."

As soon as he finished speaking, the temperature inside the tent suddenly rose, and a wave of scorching heat swept over everyone like a wild beast.

The moment the words fell, a burning, anxious heat quickly rose up.

Crimson flames then erupted from Victor's body, illuminating everyone's faces in a fiery red light.

The crowd could only turn sideways to avoid the intense heat that seemed to melt everything.

Immediately afterwards, Viktor transformed into countless tiny flames, and with the heat wave, he quickly left the tent and flew away into the distance.

Tiny embers still flickered inside the tent, but the oppressive heat had gradually dissipated.

Vladimir raised his hand, scattering the embers that were obscuring his vision, and then picked up his cigar again and took a deep drag.

Although he was confused by the conversation, he understood a little of it.

Victor still couldn't forget Revy's daughter.

Well, he wanted to pair Victor and Rivera's daughter together ten years ago.

If he didn't have a daughter, he would have made his move long ago.

So, even with such an outstanding talent as Viktor, Reeves was still not happy?

But putting the joke aside, Vladimir's gaze slowly shifted to Hera on the other side.

She was gracefully fanning herself gently, slightly dispersing the floating flames; her calm and elegant demeanor was truly admirable.

Vladimir observed from the sidelines, a vague sense of crisis rising within him.

Although Vladimir disliked these adventurers, he also knew it.

The woman before him was exceptionally powerful, in no way inferior to him, an imperial general.

He worried that Reeve's daughter might be at a disadvantage.

Since that's the case, he needs to find a way to make Hera give up the idea.

So he decided to take steps to try to get Hera to give up some of her ideas.

Taking a deep drag of his cigarette, Vladimir deliberately started a conversation, trying to probe Hera's thoughts:

"Do you know who Erica is, the one Victor mentioned earlier?"

Hera frowned, seemingly puzzled by his intentions.

Isn't that Duke Reeves' daughter? She heard it just now.

Vladimir seized the opportunity and continued to emphasize his words:

"Well, you might not know this, but Victor confessed his feelings to her ten years ago."

Hera raised an eyebrow slightly, looking somewhat surprised.

Vladimir, however, believed he had achieved his goal and became even more brazen in his provocations:

"Give up on Viktor, Viktor doesn't like you."

"Are you really planning to pursue someone who doesn't respect you?"

At this moment, Hera's gaze toward Vladimir became somewhat strange.

"You, an imperial general, actually have the leisure to worry about such trivial matters?"

Vladimir laughed heartily, immediately believing that his words had had an impact:

"Don't underestimate me just because I'm old. I've seen a lot of what you young people are all about."

"You don't have much of a chance, so you should give up sooner rather than later."

The next moment, Hera gently closed her fan.

A smile appeared on his exposed face, and he seemed completely unaffected.

Vladimir, on the other hand, felt confused.

Because Hera's gaze seemed to pass through him, seeing something far deeper.

Her eyes shone with an almost worshipful light, as if Viktor were standing right in front of her.

"It is Lord Victor's prerogative to like whomever he desires,"

“I never hoped to be with him, even though he never had any feelings for me.”

She lightly licked her lips, a fervent glint in her eyes, like a wild beast discovering its prized prey.

"All I desire is Lord Victor's seed."

"This is simply to produce the strongest offspring."

Vladimir stared at Hera in disbelief, dumbfounded.

After a moment of stunned silence, he mechanically turned his head and exchanged a shocked look with Levi.

Looking into his eyes, Levi clearly understood the meaning behind them.

He does seem to be getting old.

The love concepts of modern young people are really hard to keep up with.

Reeve sighed softly.

He understood Vladimir's unspoken meaning:

Viktor is indeed excellent.

But even the most outstanding person can't have questionable character, right?

In short, he couldn't listen to Vladimir continue, and Revi decided to interrupt him:
