Chapter 649 Does having a fiancée mean you can't steal her?

"Enough, Vladimir. There is no future for my daughter and Viktor."

"Don't forget, he has a fiancée."

Hearing this, Vladimir became somewhat anxious.

Unlike Reeve, he spent a lot of time with young people in the North and was more open-minded.

So he bluntly refuted:

"So what if someone has a fiancée? You can't steal someone else's fiancée..."

Suddenly, a mocking gaze shot at him, silencing him abruptly.

He turned his head and, sure enough, saw Hera's meaningful smile.

"It seems that even the Duke's daughter has to compete for men like me."

Vladimir was speechless for a moment, then slowly turned his head and stared at Revi with wide eyes, seemingly very dissatisfied.

Reeve felt his gaze and was under considerable pressure.

But he suppressed his displeasure and forcibly ended the conversation.

"Let's not talk about that. Does any of you know what Viktor has been up to?"

This question caused a brief silence among the people inside the tent.

Just now, it seemed like it was true?

Viktor simply left behind the words "Happy to cooperate" and then disappeared.

So, where did the Viktors go?

The three of them finally calmed down and began to think.

But at that moment, a powerful shock suddenly came from the earth.

The three exchanged a glance and spoke in unison:

"Let's go out and take a look!"

As soon as they lifted the tent flap, they encountered even more violent tremors.

Even the soldiers patrolling the area stood still, picked up their weapons, and looked solemn, as if facing a formidable enemy.

"what happened?"

Immediately afterward, Reeves noticed and shouted:

"It's commotion outside, let's get to the city wall first!"

Hera and Vladimir followed closely behind, quickly crossing the steps and climbing the towering city walls.

As soon as they reached the top of the city wall, they saw the border guards staring in disbelief, looking into the distance in shock.

Following the soldier's gaze, Reeves and his two companions also looked into the distance.

Similarly, their eyes widened in surprise.

Before them stood a magnificent stone wall.

The Great Wall, winding like a giant dragon, stretches across the entire southern land.

On that stone wall stood a man wearing a trench coat.

He walked on it, his black trench coat with tan stripes billowing wildly in the fierce wind.

As the man raised his left hand, the ground seemed to rise up as if it had been summoned.

Like mountains connecting city walls, transforming into the Great Wall, leading straight into the direction of the Demon Tower.

The magical beasts in this desolate land all looked up and gazed at the towering stone wall.

They revealed their ferocious faces, frantic and helpless, climbing each other but never able to reach the edge of the stone wall.

However, not only were the monsters on the ground unable to touch the stone wall, but even the monsters flying in the air were intimidated by this suddenly appearing obstacle.

They hovered in mid-air, as if they had not yet recovered from the sudden appearance of the stone wall.

But soon, these flyers detected the presence of humans.

My gaze shifted and I saw a human walking slowly on the stone wall.

His steps were steady, and his face carried a faint indifference.

The monster in the sky finally awoke from its shock.

They let out a long howl and swooped down on Victor like arrows, transforming into sharp spikes.

Despite the impending danger, Viktor remained calm and composed.

He moved forward steadily, and with an elegant stop, he dodged the attacks of several flying monsters.

Then...

1 second, 2 seconds.

3, 4, 5!

Five seconds later, Victor raised his right hand.

A peculiar crown stood on his right hand.

It appears to be formed by two intertwined golden branches, with a gem in the center that beats like the heart of a monster, emitting a dim light.

As the crown was driven by magic, the central gem slowly opened an eye filled with nothingness.

[Imperial Weapon: A Beast That Detests Pain]

[Restriction: Users are immune to damage when in combat]

[Effect: Creates a void portal after five seconds - summons void remnants]

As the crown was awakened, a piercing screech echoed around them.

As the tense atmosphere spread, the space at the center of the ripples began to shimmer like a shattered mirror.

The crown's light grew even stronger, finally tearing open the space behind it.

The deep fissure was exposed on the southern land, and the profound darkness was terrifying, like a dead, silent swamp.

The next moment, the rift trembled violently, and countless purple tentacles covered with sharp thorns poured out all at once.

They swept across the sky frantically, enveloping all the charging flying monsters in one fell swoop.

Whoosh!

The tentacles suddenly tore through space and retracted back into the rift.

Immediately afterwards, a shrill roar of a demonic beast and the crisp sound of countless bones breaking burst forth from the crack.

Mixed with chilling chewing sounds.

In an instant, the world fell into silence.

As the sound completely dissipated, the door to nothingness gradually expanded, its edges stretching into the pale clouds.

The people standing on the city wall were dumbfounded, their eyes wide open, and even their pupils trembled involuntarily.

“I retract my previous opinion of Viktor.”

Reeve looked ahead, watching the purple deepen, and sighed in admiration:

He is not just very good, but...

"In this era, as long as he exists..."
