Chapter 71 The Princess's Lesson Practice

A blue magic circle descended from the sky onto the mountainside, accompanied by the appearance of two beams of light, and two figures landed steadily on the ground.

Aurelion turned around and took in the surrounding scenery.

This is a vast mountain path, surrounded by towering, lush green grass and wildflowers of various colors.

The trees are thriving and towering like clouds.

She gazed at the breathtaking natural scenery along the mountain path, her eyes filled with astonishment.

This was the first time Aurelion had left the capital since she was born.

As a result, the first time they left, they found themselves in the wilderness like this.

Everything was new and exciting, and Aurelion was in a great mood.

But before she could even feel happy, Viktor's voice sounded softly from the side.

"This is—the Mirut Plains."

In the game, this is the monster-hunting area outside the safe zone.

The monsters that appear in the Milut Plains are not weak; they are generally between level 20 and 30.

And Viktor's purpose in bringing Aurelion here...

"This is today's lesson content."

"Learn to fight."

As soon as he finished speaking, his figure transformed into a ball of flame and disappeared from Aurelion's sight as if ashes had dissipated.

Viktor's vague demands left her momentarily confused.

His sudden disappearance caused Aurelion to feel a sense of panic.

The surroundings were eerily quiet.

"Teacher...?"

She opened her mouth somewhat frantically, calling out to Victor, trying to get some response.

However, all that could be heard was the rustling of the wind through the grass.

With Viktor's disappearance, the panic in Aurelion was amplified many times over.

He couldn't sense anyone around him, and there wasn't even the slightest trace of Viktor's presence.

This made her feel like she had been suddenly abandoned.

Soon, the first unnatural sound from the dangerous wilderness rang out.

A monster sensed the presence of an outsider and slowly approached Aurelion, its joints creaking and groaning.

This is a tree spirit exuding a black aura. It is humanoid in shape, with two branches serving as its hands and its roots as its feet.

The purple leaves on its body looked like trees corrupted by black energy.

The monster's large body seemed to cast a shadow over Aurelion's head.

As if her computer had crashed, her mind went completely blank.

Having no actual combat experience, she forgot how to use magic just by encountering such a monster.

"This is a corrupted tree spirit; it attacked the upper part of its branches with magic."

Suddenly, Victor's voice rang in her ears.

Aurelion immediately realized that the monster in front of her was real.

She almost made a huge mistake!

Wild monsters won't let you go just because you're spacing out; they'll only become more ferocious.

Aurelion's anxious heart calmed down considerably as she continuously searched her mind for the magic she had learned.

Soon, having calmed down, she began preparing to construct the magic.

With a wave of her hand, an array instantly began to form in her hands, several simple patterns began to intertwine, and a faint flame burst forth.

[Tier 1 Magic: Spark]

Fortunately, she hadn't forgotten about the elemental advantage/disadvantage relationship.

After the monster was hit by the flames, some flames ignited on its body, but as it shook its body, the flames gradually went out.

Looking at the corrupted tree spirit again, it seemed that nothing serious had happened.

Aurelion felt a surge of panic as she looked at the tree spirit, who was only slightly injured.

Fear crossed her face, as if the corrupting aura was about to engulf her at any moment.

"No! Don't come any closer!"

She closed her eyes in fear, backing away while continuously forming fire magic in her hands.

Fireballs rained down on the corrupted tree spirit.

Although the effect was not very good, quantitative change will eventually lead to qualitative change.

Under Aurelion's relentless magical attacks, the treant, already ablaze with flames from the numerous sparks, was quickly consumed by fire.

The flames subsided, and the monster's voice abruptly ceased.

Aurelion opened her eyes in fear, only to find the monster before her already reduced to ashes.

"It...is dead?"

Aurelian was somewhat incredulous; she looked down at her palms.

Because of the constant casting of magic, her palms became somewhat hot.

But, did she really kill this monster with her own hands?

Aurelion couldn't believe it, yet everything before her seemed so real.

This feeling made her feel...

It was incredibly...exciting!

It was completely different from what those monks had taught her before!

"Not bad, at least I didn't fail on the first try."

At some point, Viktor reappeared by Aurelion's side.

He offered a brief compliment to Aurelion while picking up the crystals and corrupted branches from the dead monster.

It was added to the player's inventory.

After doing all this, he turned his gaze back to Aurelion.

“Aurelian, walk this mountain path, and that will be your lesson and homework for today.”

"By the way, if you want to give up, just tell me and I will end our course."

Aurelion nodded hesitantly.

Although defeating the monster for the first time gave her some confidence and made her realize that she could fight just as well.

But she still wanted to have a little more hope, so she couldn't help but ask Victor.
