They even forgot about the passage of time around them.
After an unknown amount of time, a voice broke her reverie.
"It's time to go."
Aurelion looked up and saw Victor put away his book and stand up.
The dozing crow also flapped its wings and perched on his shoulder.
Aurelion then realized what was happening, hurriedly put away her book, and stood up as well.
She thought today's class was about to begin, but then she heard Viktor say:
"I'll take you to a nice place today."
A nice place?
Aurelion was a little confused and hadn't reacted much when the teleportation array on the ground began to light up faintly.
Celia saw the teleportation magic appear on the ground and immediately became anxious.
"I want to go with the princess too!"
As the princess's personal bodyguard, how could she be abandoned by Victor time and time again?
If the princess is left alone with Victor all the time, what if something goes wrong?
The next second, her head might be rolling on the ground.
But Victor's cold voice had already rang out.
"Feel sorry."
"Only one person."
Buzz—
The mysterious sound of the magic array suddenly rang out, and in an instant, the two transformed into two streaks of blue light, shooting out of the study window and heading towards the horizon.
Celia was left alone in the empty study, staring blankly out the window, a nameless rage rising within her.
Damn it, Victor!
They've kidnapped the princess again!
...
As the light faded, Aurelion and Victor appeared atop a towering cliff.
The sky was covered with dark clouds, and bolts of lightning occasionally flashed across the sky.
A cold wind blew through the mountains, and the chill made Aurelion feel the hairs on her body stand on end.
She gazed down at the deep, dark abyss below, where a chilling aura howled from the valley floor, like the simultaneous wailing of countless vengeful spirits.
Before the mountain lay a vast, dark, surging ocean of giant waves.
Aurelion felt short of breath, as if her legs were enveloped by a strange sensation, becoming weak and aching, as if she could no longer support her body.
Is this the good place that Teacher Viktor mentioned?
Is she going to have class here today?
But Victor remained calm, letting the cold wind blow his trench coat around him.
"This is... the Tallinn Abyss."
"The borderlands of the empire."
Aurelion's mouth was open, and her voice was a little softer because she was having trouble breathing.
"Teacher...why are we here?"
Viktor took out the invitation, squeezed it gently, and tossed it into the air.
As if guided by something, the envelope gradually rose into the sky with the help of the wind.
Suddenly, a ray of light pierced the sky, and the clear sky grew larger and larger. A floating island gradually emerged from the light.
That was Endymion.
The City of Mages appears in different places every day, but never enters the territory of any country.
Therefore, Victor must wait for Endymion's coordinates to appear at the border of the Empire before using the teleportation array to reach that location.
The teleportation array, prepared overnight, was meant for this very moment.
A white light gradually descended and enveloped Viktor.
"Your Highness, please give me your hand."
Aurelion blinked and reached out to take Victor's hand.
A flash of light, and Aurelion closed her eyes.
Their bodies gradually floated into the air, a sensation that Aurelian found incredibly strange. She felt as if her free soul had been suddenly liberated and was soaring through the sky, feeling completely relaxed.
Feel the sensation of soaring through the sky.
Gradually, she became intoxicated by this feeling of freedom.
After the flash of bright light, Aurelion heard a familiar voice:
"You can open your eyes now."
She slowly raised her eyelids, and the scene before her made the world seem so unreal.
Rune-covered arrays floated above the island, and the buildings that floated above the rocks seemed to be constantly breaking apart, only to recombine in a chaotic manner the next second.
It's like being in a strange state between the boundaries of order and chaos.
They would collide from time to time, and the giant rocks beneath the building would fly away in the opposite direction due to the force.
The entire castle was then covered with all sorts of exotic plants.
For example, there's a flower with a lion's head shape, and a leopard-head grass that stares at the flower and drools.
They probably won't come to anything.
There were also some little pigs with wings flying in the sky, touching the floating, colorful bubbles.
Strangely, the rocks would touch the bubbles, but it was as if they were hitting a sponge, slowly bouncing away.
The pig disappeared the moment it bumped into the bubble and the bubble burst.
Aurelion had never seen such a place before. She was immediately attracted by the colorful bubbles filling the sky and, out of curiosity, she reached out to poke them.
"Once it's exposed, we don't know where it will be teleported to."
Upon hearing Victor's warning, Aurelion withdrew her agitated hand.
She silently prayed that the flying pig would be safe and sound.
Soon, a monk came out to greet the two.
A white cloud drifted by, and a long-eared elf rubbed his sleepy eyes, touched his long blue hair, and looked up at the two of them.
Many pink petals surrounded the clouds, and the elven mage stretched out two warm, fair, slender, and beautiful legs from the clouds.
She was about to speak, but then held back her breath. She touched the white cloud-like object surrounding her before speaking again:
"You must be Victor."
"I've been waiting for you for ages."
