She shrugged and gestured for Gwen to look in the other direction.
Gwen blinked. Her first thought upon arriving was to ensure Leah's safety, so she naturally didn't notice the pile of charred corpses.
Now that she saw it, she frowned.
As a high knight, she was used to seeing corpses, but even so, this gruesome way of dying still made her scalp tingle.
But... was it done by those mages that Lia brought?
But upon reflection, she herself didn't quite believe it.
The weak magical power of those mages was insufficient to sustain the burning of a large number of people.

An absurd thought flashed through her mind, and she couldn't help but tease Leah.
"Did you kill these bandits? Don't worry about it, Leah, I was just joking."
