Chapter 64 Ambiguity
After the floats passed, the man took the girl to the Disney castle.
"Little princess, isn't the castle beautiful?" Dan Anwen asked gently, watching the girl look down from the castle.
"Mmm." The girl nodded.
"Would you like to go inside the castle?" Dan Anwen watched the girl's fair hands touch the wall and realized that the girl also had a princess dream.
Sure enough, the girl's eyes lit up a little. Everyone wants to be a princess; it's the dream of millions of girls around the world since they've been little.
"May I?"
"Of course." The man's lips curled into a smile.
Entering the castle is like stepping into a Snow White fairy tale. Stepping up the white stairs one by one, with her pink skirt swaying gently, she looks exactly like a little princess, the kind of little princess every man dreams of.
"Little princess, don't move." Dan Anwen called out to the girl who was climbing the steps.
The girl tilted her head slightly, and the soft light shone on her fair face, with light and shadow flitting across the corners of her eyes. From afar, she looked like the most beautiful princess in the castle, perhaps even more stunning than Snow White from the fairy tale.
The man quickly captured the moment, the sound of pressing the button freezing the girl's beautiful image in the camera.
"Uncle Dan, let me see the photo."
The man captured many beautiful moments of the girl along the way, but the girl hadn't had a chance to see the photos of herself yet.
Gu Zhaodi was stunned when she saw the incredibly beautiful girl in the camera. She looked even more youthful and energetic than she did in the dressing mirror, and there was no trace of her former cautiousness.
It seems that the elegant and dignified man in front of me played a crucial role in all these changes.
After leaving the castle, the sun quietly began to set, the blue sky and white clouds were adorned with golden light and shadow, and the bustling scene outside continued.
There are staff selling balloons in front of Mickey Avenue.
The man told the girl to sit on a chair a short distance away and rest for a while, while he went over and bought a balloon.
"Sir, which one would you like?"
"Give me a yellow Mickey Mouse one." Dan Anwen looked at the colorful flowers in the air and remembered the yellow sunflower the girl had chosen last time.
After paying, the man glanced at the girl who was closing her eyes in the distance and asked, "Do you know where I can buy Winnie the Pooh in the park?"
"Sir, you can buy them at the Disney World Store; they have plenty there," the staff member replied helpfully.
"Thanks."
Gu Zhaodi was sitting on a bench with her eyes closed, resting, when she felt as if something was wrapping around her wrist.
When she opened her eyes and looked closely, she saw a pair of large, well-defined hands with a string tied to them. Looking up, she saw a yellow Mickey Mouse balloon.
"balloon?"
After tying the balloon strings, Dan Anwen sat down next to the girl, his tone full of doting affection, enough to melt anyone's heart, "Since you're a little princess today, how can we do without balloons?"
"Thank you, Uncle Dan." The girl looked up at the balloon in the air, which was being gently blown by the breeze, with a smile on her face.
"Is the little princess hungry?" Dan Anwen asked gently, his expression softening with the glow of the setting sun, giving him a savior-like aura.
The girl touched her tummy after drinking milk tea, unsure if she could still fit food in it.
Seeing the girl's conflicted expression, the man affectionately pinched her smooth little face. "Since you're not hungry yet, I'll take you somewhere."
"good."
The girl strolled around Disneyland with the man, and followed him to the Disney World Store.
"How can the little princess leave empty-handed? Let's go in and pick something out." Dan Anwen patted the girl's shoulder and led her into the store.
The store was filled with a dazzling array of plush toys: Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Lina Belle, Strawberry Bear...
This is a paradise of fluffy plush toys, each one making you want to take it home.
The man simply grabbed a basket, placed it in front of the girl, and waved it around, saying, "We won't go home until it's full."
"Ah," the girl looked at the largest basket in the man's hand with some surprise, and was a little doubtful of life. How many dolls could he possibly pick out?
"Go ahead." Dan Anwen ignored the girl's surprised gaze and pushed her back with one hand, placing her in a sea of dolls.
Gu Zhaodi had no choice but to bite the bullet and start picking. She knew that if she didn't pick, Uncle Dan would just grab them by hand, and then it wouldn't be a problem that could be solved with just one basket.
The store not only has various cartoon character dolls, but also a wide variety of related merchandise.
"Uncle Dan, I want this dress." The girl's eyes shone like a galaxy, as if starlight had fallen into the darkness, making it impossible to ignore.
Dan Anwen glanced at it, looking somewhat helpless. "Kid, these are matching outfits."
These are Winnie the Pooh T-shirts designed by Disney specifically for couples.
The girl stuck out her pink, delicate tongue and didn't notice anything.
“But…” The girl stared intently at the two Winnie the Pooh bears on the matching shirts. These bears were only on these two shirts; to highlight their exclusivity, there weren’t even any plush toys in this shape.
Seeing the girl's pitiful appearance, even a man who sticks to his principles will soften his stance and say, "Buy it, just wear the women's version."
As for the other one...
"Mmm." The girl quickly took off the two pieces of clothing.
The girl then practically swept through all sorts of Winnie the Pooh dolls and related merchandise that she liked, leaving the large basket the man was carrying somewhat empty.
"That's fine, Uncle Dan." The girl blinked her bright eyes, hoping the man would let her go.
Seeing that she really didn't want to choose anything, Dan An ruffled the girl's hair and said, "Don't you want to pick something for your classmate?"
The man thought that the child had been taken care of by Guan Xiang and the others, and that he should give something in return.
“I’ve chosen.” The girl picked up the Rena Belle keychain. She remembered Guan Xiang telling her that Rena Belle was her favorite Disney doll.
Dan Anwen raised an eyebrow and glanced at it. "Then let's go pay the bill."
When they arrived at the checkout, the girl took out a Lina Belle keychain and a Winnie the Pooh phone charm from the basket.
"You don't want it anymore?" The man thought she didn't want it anymore when she took it out.
"No, I have to pay for these two myself." The girl shook her head.
Dan Anwen assumed that she was going to buy it herself as a gift for her classmate, and since the item wasn't expensive, she didn't insist on paying for it.
After settling the bill, the man mailed all the dolls back to Jinshan Villa, while the girl standing next to him asked for the man's phone.
Dan Anwen didn't pay much attention and handed the phone directly to the girl.
When I got it back, there was a new pendant on the black and gold phone.
The girl scratched her head shyly and said in a low voice, "Uncle Dan, I can't afford an expensive gift, I hope you won't mind."
Dan Anwen's sharp features softened, and a glint of light flashed behind his gold-rimmed glasses. "Gifts are priceless, and I really like this."
As he spoke, the man glanced at the pendant on his phone; the Winnie the Pooh was quite cute.
Clearly, the man had forgotten his initial impression of Winnie the Pooh when he first saw him.
"I'm glad you like it." The girl put her hands behind her back, tilted her head back, and her eyes sparkled.
Dan Anwen held her phone, a slight smile playing on her lips.
After browsing the Disney World Store, the two headed to the Royal Banquet Hall.
"A Lena Belle ice cream and a Mickey waffle combo, please," the girl said, ordering the two items from the menu.
Dan Anwen raised a thick eyebrow slightly. "Not ordering Winnie the Pooh ice cream?"
"Bears are so cute, how can you eat them?" the girl pouted.
If Guan Xiang knew that her beloved Lina Belle was going to be eaten, she might fight the girl to the death.
After hearing this, Dan An let out a soft laugh; the child was just too adorable.
“Little princess, you have ice cream on your lips.” Dan Anwen pointed his long, slender finger at the girl’s bright red lips.
"Hmm?" The girl picked up a tissue from the table to wipe her mouth, but only half of it was wiped away.
Pink ice cream smudged the corners of the girl's slightly upturned lips, her fair and rosy cheeks almost blending into the ice cream. Under the soft light, even her innocent eyes shone with a hint of sweetness.
Dan Anwen leaned forward slightly and used a soft tissue to wipe away the blush on the girl's face.
The two looked into each other's eyes, and the girl could clearly see her reflection in the man's eyes. Her ears burned slightly, and she blushed uncontrollably all the way to the tip of her nose.
The man wasn't much better off; his delicate face was so close that he could almost see the fine downy hairs on her face, and the shadows of her curled eyelashes fell under her eyelids.
The man clearly noticed that their posture was too intimate, but he still calmly sat down and said, "Let's eat."
The girl gave a muffled "hmm" and then buried her head in her food without looking up.
Dan Anwen quickly regained his composure, glanced at the girl who was almost buried in the plate, and chuckled, "After we finish eating, let's go see the fireworks show."
