Chapter 13 Wang Yinbao Burns Taohua Village

Wang Yinbao immediately went to the village chief's house, but he did not forget to hide carefully.

I often play hide-and-seek with Xiao Zhuzi and the others, and I am familiar with the village, so it is very easy for me to hide.

Soon, he arrived at the village chief's house. He crouched down to look inside through the crack in the door.

There was a bonfire in the yard, and on it was a child. The face on that child belonged to his brother.

Wang Yinbao clenched his hands and bit his lips before he could control himself.

He couldn't let his brother get eaten! No!

Wang Yinbao thought of his parents, grandparents, and many other people at home. He couldn't let them be eaten!

At this time, Wang Yinbao saw the haystack in the yard.

Every family has this haystack, and it can be found everywhere in the village.

Every household has firewood in the yard.

Wang Yinbao immediately ran to the next door house and found the flint.

The firelight illuminated his face, but Wang Yinbao was not afraid at all.

My brother said that when there is a fire, you should cover your mouth and nose with a wet cloth.

Wang Yinbao couldn't find any water, but his brother said he could just pee.

He covered his mouth and nose, then lit the firewood pile and set the house on fire, and the fire burned very quickly.

He picked up the burning stick and threw it into the haystack, and the fire instantly grew bigger.

There were curses coming from next door, and Wang Yinbao was very scared, but more of it was hatred.

He climbed up the wall by stepping on the tables and chairs he had put together.

In the yard, three men were eagerly standing up, packing up their things and wanting to leave.

Wang Yinbao held a burning stick in each hand and threw them into the haystack and firewood pile.

Then he immediately went down and took two more sticks.

By this time, the fire was very big and Wang Yinbao didn't know if he could escape.

He just stubbornly picked up the firewood wrapped in dry weeds and threw it into the yard next door.

At this time, the people in the yard also realized that it was not someone who set the fire accidentally, but someone wanted to kill them.

The three men quickly picked up the food and children, pushed the door open and tried to leave.

But this door cannot be opened no matter what.

Wang Yinbao locked the door with a wooden stick, but the stick was not very thick, so they would be able to break the door open sooner or later.

So Wang Yinbao took the firewood and threw it accurately at the door.

Three men stood together, and two torches fell from the sky.

In an instant, their clothes were on fire.

They threw away the food and children in their hands and rolled on the ground, trying to put out the fire on their bodies.

Wang Yinbao kept throwing firewood and haystacks around them.

The fire grew bigger and bigger, and Wang Yinbao's hands were also burned.

He looked at his brother on the torch, listened to the screams of the three men, and threw the stick in his hand.

The stick knocked over the fire and my brother was completely engulfed in flames.

Wang Yinbao thought that being burned to ashes would not be bad, at least he would not be eaten by disgusting people.

The houses in the village are all connected together, and some have thatched roofs.

So the fire quickly spread out and the refugees who were searching around in the village had to flee for their lives.

As he ran out, he cursed who was so careless as to start the fire.

The person who was fleeing passed by the village chief's house and heard the cries for help from inside.

But no one pulled out a stick to open the door.

It was obvious that the stick could be pulled out easily and without taking any time, but everyone pretended not to see it.

When Wang Yinbao realized that there were no more sticks in the yard for him to throw, he took two torches he found in the kitchen and went next door.

The wooden stick on the door was broken in half, so Wang Yinbao waited with a torch.

The three men's cries for help were getting weaker and weaker.

With a clang, the stick broke and a burning man crawled out.

Wang Yinbao, with shaking hands, thrust the torch into his face.

The other party screamed and rolled over, covering his face.

Wang Yinbao went to the side, took a pile of straw and put it on the man, then extended the torch over again.

The two people in the yard were choked by the smoke.

Wang Yinbao threw a lot of haystacks in to make sure the fire was big enough.

Then they took torches and started lighting fires all over the village.

Thanks to the haystacks in the village and the dry weather, the fire burned quickly.

Wang Yinbao arrived at his home, and because it was a brick house, it had not caught fire yet.

After he went in, he continued to set fire.

He couldn't protect the bodies of his relatives, so the only thing he could do was burn them.

The entire Taohua Village was engulfed in flames.

Liu Xiaohua took the food she had found and saw the fire, thinking it was a good fire.

It's better to be burned to death than to be eaten by others.

The refugees outside saw the fire in Taohua Village and wanted to take advantage of the situation, but unfortunately they had to change their target.

The endless stream of refugees finally stopped.

Taohua Village finally became quiet.

Wang Yinbao sat on a rock, staring at the burning village motionlessly.

My hands hurt so much, but there is no one who cares about me anymore.

No one calls me Xiaobao anymore.

Wang Yinbao's tears flowed again. He looked into the distance, not knowing where to go.

But the mother said that she must hide well and must survive.

Wang Yinbao thought about it and decided that he could go to the provincial capital to find his sister or pursue the village chief.

The village chief will definitely take care of himself. He will also take care of all the children in the village who have no parents.

Wang Yinbao suddenly felt that he knew where to go.

He stood up, patted the dirt off his body, and planned to go to the provincial capital to find his sister first, and then go to the south to find the village chief, Xiao Zhuzi, and the people in Taohua Village.

When the fire was out, Wang Yinbao found the remaining black ashes of his brother, parents, grandparents, and other relatives.
