Chapter 37 Lin Zaoyi, I will never be your brother in this lifetime.
Lin Zaoyi grunted twice and continued to pour wine, "Xixi, I don't want to hear Tan Zhaojing's voice, please help me kick him out."
Meng Jinxi: "!!!"
How did we expose her? Brother Zhaojing will kill her!
"Meng Jinxi." Zhao Jing called out her full name abruptly, his tone completely devoid of warmth, unlike Zao Yi's.
She smiled ingratiatingly, "Brother Zhaojing, this has nothing to do with me..."
There were no further words on the other end, only one sentence: "Keep an eye on him."
Don't worry~
As night fell, two uninvited guests arrived at the house: Meng Henian and Zhao Jingge.
The first thing Zhaojing asked was, "Where is Zaoyi?"
She pointed towards the second bedroom, "It's a bit noisy, isn't it?"
The lights were off inside, but by the light from the living room, Tan Zhaojing noticed that the girl's nightgown was rolled up to her waist, revealing her underwear, which was lace-trimmed and clung to her buttocks like flower petals.
Spring is in full bloom.
He strode to the bedside, bent down and grabbed the thin blanket beside her, draped it over her, but less than half a second later, it was kicked away.
"It's hot!" the person in his arms protested.
"It's not hot enough to kill you." He forced the blanket around her.
"Tan Zhaojing?" Lin Zaoyi's brain was completely controlled by alcohol at this moment, and she muttered, "Annoying, why are you everywhere?"
Tan Zhaojing didn't bother arguing with the drunkard. "Does he dislike me that much?"
"Ugh." Lin Zaoyi uncomfortablely pulled the blanket up, struggling for a while to free only her hands. "How annoying..."
He reached out and grabbed the collar of the man's shirt, his fingertips finding the teeth marks on his collarbone. "Here... it looks like I bit him."
He chuckled foolishly: "I want to bite again."
At that moment, she did whatever she wanted without considering the consequences. As soon as the thought crossed her mind, she grabbed his shirt for leverage to get up, leaned forward, and bounced slightly as she lay on top of him. She lowered her head, opened her lips, and bit down hard on the bite mark.
The not-so-genuine brother and sister outside the door: "..."
They exchanged a glance, and before closing the door, Meng Jinxi considerately turned on a wall lamp.
Without further scrutiny, Tan Zhaojing released the person in his arms, letting her whine and fuss. They were close enough that even the dim light of the wall lamp was enough for him to see clearly.
The face before me was the kind that you'd remember at first glance, especially the eyes, which were bright and clear, and now, because of the intoxication, they had a slightly naive look.
But that night, the air was thick with moisture, which added an alluring quality that drew attention. She held him, nibbling at his shoulder blade, and moaned softly, "Don't go..."
The stinging pain pulled him back to reality. The girl had bitten him again, in the same spot. This time, he couldn't take it and hissed softly.
The person in his arms tilted their head back, placed their hand on his shoulder, and asked with hazy, drunken eyes, "Does it hurt?"
What do you think?
He raised his lips slightly, his tone unconsciously doting, "Are you calm now?"
The girl shook her head.
"Then do you know who I am?"
She answered crisply, "Tan Zhaojing."
"...Not drunk?"
"I'm not drunk."
Drunkards never admit to being drunk.
Tan Zhaojing teased, "Tan Zhaojing is so wicked, how do you plan to deal with him?"
The girl pouted, her tone full of drunken naivety, "Eliminate him."
He laughed. "How do we eliminate them?"
Tired of constantly tilting her head back, Lin Zaoyi buried her face in his chest. "Let Shin-chan find Action Kamen, biubiubiu~"
If she hadn't watched the cartoon in his car, Tan Zhaojing would definitely have been completely clueless. "What if we can't get rid of it?"
"Can't we get rid of them?" Lin Zaoyi tried to think about the problem, but her mind was clouded by alcohol, and she couldn't come up with an answer. She shook her head and said, "I don't know."
Sniffing, she thought, "He's so fierce."
"He's deadly..."
The phone rang at an inopportune moment. Tan Zhaojing glanced at it and hung up. It rang again less than half a minute later. He answered, "Go on."
Duan Lin clicked his tongue, "Why aren't you answering the phone?"
Tan Zhaojing: "Speak if you have something to say."
Duan Lin: "Want to come to the club for a while?"
Just as I was asking, a soft, coquettish whimper came from the other end of the phone, "So noisy..."
Those two words made his eyelids twitch. "What the hell are you doing?"
"That's all, I'm hanging up now."
He got really excited, "Hey wait a minute! You really are hiding someone! Who???"
He was met with a busy signal.
"..."
Why does that voice sound so familiar?
But who is it?
No, let's ask Meng Henian.
After all, Meng Henian had witnessed this firsthand.
"I just called Zhaojing. There was a woman with him. Do you know who it is?"
Meng Henian sipped his wine and uttered nonsense, "I don't know."
After hanging up, Meng Jinxi, who was sitting to the side, glanced at the closed door of the second bedroom and asked, "Meng Henian, do you think we'll get to eat their wedding candy?"
After a few seconds, Meng Henian finally spoke, "We'll have to ask them."
"What about ours?"
Meng Jinxi wrapped her arms around his neck without any hesitation, "Can I eat it?"
Meng Henian's expression turned cold. "Meng Jinxi."
Meng Jinxi removed her arm, a faint smile playing on her lips, her eyes lively yet melancholic, "Boring."
The second bedroom, separated by a wall.
The drunken girl was rambling on and on, "I only took advantage of you a little. Other people who sleep with you get to buy you diamonds, but I didn't ask for anything and you didn't cause any trouble. Isn't that great? But you, you won't let it go!"
He spoke with such conviction.
Tan Zhaojing laughed in anger, "Who did I sleep with?"
"You're way too old, and you're giving me questions I can't understand... Three days... How am I supposed to know what you're up to? You're just watching me make a fool of myself, pretending not to know even though you know it's me..."
As she spoke, she began to sob uncontrollably.
Those who don't know the situation would think he suffered a great injustice.
Tan Zhaojing wiped the dampness from her face with his fingertips, lifted her head, and gazed at her in the dim light. "What if you're not fierce?"
“Not fierce at all…” Lin Zaoyi tilted her head, her cheek pressed against his palm, unconsciously rubbing against it. “If he’s not fierce, then I like him.”
Tan Zhaojing swallowed hard, his voice low, "What kind of liking?"
She was silent, so he nudged her, "Speak."
The girl slapped him away, but luckily he reacted quickly and only hit her shoulder. He then grabbed her little hand, gently stroking her palm, and patiently asked again, "What kind of liking?"
After a couple of seconds, she muttered, "Brother."
His mood sank, and before he could say anything, she suddenly pouted, "You don't treat me like a sister."
A slender arm reached out and draped over him like a vine, its fluffy head burrowing into the crook of his neck, "I like you, brother..."
The tone is sweet and soft.
One could hear that Zhaojing was agitated.
The person in her arms suddenly whimpered, "Thirsty."
He said he was thirsty, but the grip on his hand didn't loosen; it held him tightly. A look of helplessness crossed his brow. "I'll go get you some water."
He relaxed, but he still grumbled a few times before stopping.
Once outside, Tan Zhaojing asked the homeowner, "Where is Zaoyi's water cup?"
Meng Jinxi pointed to the dining table.
Tan Zhaojing walked over. There were several cups on the table, most of them printed with cartoons. He intuitively picked one with a Shin-chan image, which Zaoyi loved.
He poured half a glass and brought it to her lips, but she only took a sip before frowning and waving her hand, "Don't drink it, it tastes bland."
"......"
He added more honey, but he was still not satisfied; it was too sweet.
Keep changing.
The two people in the living room wanted to laugh. Tan Zhaojing probably never expected to be ordered around like this one day. What made Meng Jinxi feel relieved was that she didn't see any displeasure on Zhaojing's face. He seemed to be happy with it.
Finally, on the fifth attempt, the drunkard in bed was satisfied and drank half a glass, sweetly saying, "Thank you, brother."
Tan Zhaojing didn't respond, but his fingertips gently caressed the corners of her reddened eyes. The love and desire in his eyes were no longer concealed; they were hot and thick with desire.
He leaned down and pressed his lips to her ear, "Lin Zaoyi, I can never be your brother in this lifetime."
