Chapter 50: Did she get pregnant out of wedlock?
Tang Wan'er doesn't like malicious flattery or bootlicking; she genuinely believes that Fu's mother is Fu Yanzun's sister.
"I'm sorry, Auntie, I really thought you were his sister."
Judging from the girl's attitude, which seemed somewhat different from her appearance, she thought that perhaps young people nowadays like to dress coolly for parties and gatherings, and maybe she only dresses like this occasionally, and is probably quite ladylike in everyday life.
"Young lady, what's your name? How old are you?"
Tang Wan'er wasn't very good at getting along with elders. She wouldn't feel so nervous if it were Fu Yanzun's older sister, but when she thought about his mother, she felt a little unsure of what to do.
After all, she knew that being in a man's house late at night might make her seem like a shameless woman in the eyes of her elders, and that would leave a bad impression.
"My name is Tang Wan'er, and I'll be 21 next month..."
Fu's mother was clearly a little surprised, not expecting that Fu Yanzun would find such a young girl as his girlfriend.
But the New Year
There are advantages to being young, such as being able to have more children after marriage.
Younger children are also more obedient and less likely to have their own thoughts.
"Who are your family members? What do your parents do?"
Fu Yanzun couldn't help but rub his forehead. He had no relationship with Tang Wan'er at all, so why was it like a household registration investigation?
Fu Yanzun immediately went over and said, "Mom, can you stop interrogating me like this? Don't scare the girl. It's getting late, I think you should go home quickly so my dad won't worry about you. Or I can drive you home?"
Knowing that Fu Yanzun had a girlfriend, Fu's mother felt much more at ease. "You reeked of alcohol and still drove me home. Aren't you afraid of being caught for drunk driving? I don't need you to drive me. My driver is still waiting for me downstairs. Alright, I won't disturb your time together any longer. I'll head back now."
Madam Fu smiled and looked at Tang Wan'er, "Wan'er, I'll be going now. Come over for dinner next time. Tell Yan Zun what you like to eat, and I'll cook you a whole table of your favorite dishes."
Tang Wan'er smiled awkwardly, really not.
He was surprised to find that Fu Yanzun's mother was so enthusiastic; he hadn't even heard a word about it.
"Okay, I understand, Auntie. Take care!"
Madam Fu glanced at Fu Yanzun and said, "Come out with me, I have something to tell you."
Fu Yanzun had no choice but to follow his parents out and see her downstairs.
It wasn't until they got into the elevator that Fu's mother said, "Although this girl isn't my type, it's always better to have a girlfriend than not. I don't care about her family background anymore, as long as she has a clean background. Since you're already living together, why not have a child soon?"
Fu Yanzun was completely speechless. Where was he? He and Tang Wan'er weren't even in a relationship, so why did they want a child?
"Mom, what do you take this girl for? A breeding machine? If that's the case, you might never have a daughter-in-law in your life. And I will never let her get pregnant out of wedlock. Don't you think that's very irresponsible? It also damages the woman's reputation."
In fact, Madam Fu knew that Fu Yanzun's words were not entirely without reason.
