Rules of Classroom 7 (Part 3)
The female teacher's slender neck twisted slowly, as if "examining" the three intruders.
The tip of the pointer hit the podium unconsciously, making a frightening "da, da" sound.
After a long while, the shrill, drawn-out voice sounded again, with a playful tone like a cat and mouse:
"...return...to your seat..."
She casually pointed her pointer at a few empty, dusty seats in the back row of the classroom.
The three newcomers were as if they had been pardoned. They rolled and crawled, almost escaping, towards the empty seats.
I sat down stiffly, shrinking myself as much as possible, not daring to look at the podium or the smiling classmates around me.
The female teacher seemed satisfied.
She turned around, faced the blackboard, raised her slender arms, and began to write on the blackboard with the sharp pointer.
The sound of the chalk tip scratching on the blackboard was so sharp that it made your scalp tingle.
What she wrote was not any known words or formulas at all, but a chaotic, twisted, and wriggling mess of lines and symbols, with black chalk dust falling down.
"Look carefully..."
She ordered without turning her head, her voice garbled.
All the students, including the three newcomers who had just sat down, were forced to look up and stare at the growing and distorted black pattern.
Gao Meng felt as if his eyeballs were being pricked by needles, and his stomach was churning.
Li Mu forced himself to analyze the logic of those lines, but he only felt dizzy and his sanity was being eroded by madness.
Zhao Sha's tears flowed silently, mixing with the dust on her face.
Feng Tianning hid in the corner, watching all this indifferently.
She could feel that as the symbols on the blackboard increased, an invisible, foul force was permeating and strengthening in the classroom, trying to penetrate deep into the consciousness of every living thing.
But she still didn't move.
Time crawled slowly in extreme agony.
Suddenly, a boy sitting in the row in front of Zhao Sha began to shake his body very slightly and at a high frequency.
His head tried to move away from the blackboard little by little.
On the podium, the female teacher suddenly stopped writing.
The air in the entire classroom froze instantly.
The female teacher's head suddenly rotated 180 degrees at an angle that was completely contrary to her physiological structure, facing the boy.
Behind the thick lenses, the two dark circular spots seemed to glow with a scarlet light.
"You...didn't...see..."
The sound was as sharp as an icicle.
The boy trembled even more violently, and a "gurgling" sound came from his throat, as if he was being strangled.
The female teacher raised the sharp metal pointer and aimed at the boy.
Just as the pointer was about to be thrown——
“Pah.”
A very slight sound.
It’s Li Mu.
He was so nervous that his elbow accidentally knocked the dried-up, rusty pen off the table.
The sound was not loud, but it was like thunder in the silent classroom.
The female teacher's head, which had rotated 180 degrees, suddenly stopped.
Then, extremely slowly, step by step, it turned towards Li Mu.
Behind the thick lenses, the two scarlet lights locked onto Li Mu.
"you……"
The shrill voice dragged on longer, the malice in it almost overflowing.
“…doing…what…”
Li Mu's blood ran cold and his mind went blank.
"…things…that…have…nothing…to…do…with…study…"
The metal teaching stick slowly turned, and the sharp tip, flashing with cold light, was aimed at Li Mu's forehead.
Gao Meng and Zhao Sha were so frightened that they closed their eyes, having long forgotten that they still had spiritual power and could still resist.
In the classroom, the smiles of the students became more exaggerated, filled with cruel expectations.
The teaching stick is about to break through the air——
At this critical moment——
“Bang!!”
A dull, loud bang suddenly came from the closed wooden door at the back of the classroom.
It was as if something extremely heavy was banging against the door panel outside.
The whole classroom was shaken.
At the podium, the female teacher's movements suddenly froze. Her head, which had been rotated 180 degrees, suddenly twisted back, facing the back door. The scarlet light behind her lenses flickered violently, and her shrill voice was filled with a hint of uncertainty and... a sense of offended rage?
"who?!!"
The crash happened again, even more violently.
Dust fell from the door panel, and even a crack appeared.
In the classroom, the strangely synchronized smiles on the faces of the thirty-six students disappeared in an instant, replaced by a blank, bewildered look.
The female teacher let out an extremely sharp, inhuman scream, and her slender body suddenly turned towards the back door, drawing all attention to it.
The teaching stick pointed at Li Mu also dropped unconsciously.
Qin Guan, who was hidden in the air, silently retracted the finger that had just shot out a spiritual power from the air to hit the back door.
Li Mu collapsed in his seat, as if he had just been pulled out of the water. Cold sweat soaked his clothes, and the violent gasps for air he had just survived were suppressed in his throat.
Gao Meng and Zhao Sha opened their eyes in shock, and looked blankly at the female teacher who rushed to the back in anger, screamed at the door but did not dare to open it easily.
He looked at the students around him who were in a daze, completely confused about what was happening.
Feng Tianning's eyes lightly swept over the hidden Qin Guan, and a barely perceptible thought passed over:
"Don't worry about them, as long as there is no danger to their lives."
Qin Guan's thoughts came back with a hint of apology:
"Grandma, why don't these kids know how to resist? That guy just now was almost killed."
Feng Tianning ignored him and turned his gaze back to the front of the classroom.
The distorted symbols on the blackboard temporarily stopped wriggling and growing as the female teacher's attention was diverted, but they still exuded an ominous aura.
The brief chaos appears to be subsiding.
The female teacher roared at the door a few times, and the thing that was hitting the door outside seemed to have gone away.
She turned her slender neck back, and the scarlet light behind the lenses swept across the classroom, as if looking for the source of the interruption of her "lecture".
The crisis was not resolved, but simply interrupted briefly and violently.
The rules in the classroom are still like an invisible noose, wrapped around the neck of every newcomer and slowly tightening.
And in this strange silence, the girl sitting in front of Li Mu suddenly began to move her head away from the blackboard again... little by little... with a very small and very slow amplitude.
"You can choose to take action, or you can choose to abide by the rules here."
Feng Tianning's voice reached everyone's ears, but these newcomers didn't dare to move at all.
