Chapter 16 Confessing to Cao An

Photo after photo showed devastation and scars everywhere. There were even the remains of living creatures. Cao An couldn't believe it. "This little country?" It wasn't enough that they had harmed China; they were also bringing destruction to the entire planet. Damn it!

Cao An's eyes were red with anger. "Is there no one to stop it?"

"At first, only China was widely reporting this incident. Other countries refused to believe it and were deceived. Later, the cover-up became impossible, and all marine life had already mutated. By then, it was too late!"

Cao An picked up the book and flipped through it. "So you really are just a person from the future, not a spy?"

Xia Youyou looked at him in disbelief, "So you suspected that I was a spy? Why didn't you say so earlier!" He made her feel uncomfortable for so long, and even lost her money!

Cao An smiled and felt that he should have talked to her sooner. However, there was no such thing as knowing things earlier. It wasn't too late to know now, but it was unfair to her.

He walked around her and went to the chair she had put out and sat down. He sank into the soft backrest and lay down like her. It was really quite comfortable!

Xia Youyou pressed on his hand and an interface popped up, "Let me give you a massage, it will be very comfortable." She increased the intensity on the light screen. His muscles were so big, so he must adjust it to a heavier level.

Cao An felt balls rolling across his back, and a pain flared up from injuries sustained in his earlier years. He sighed in relief, "What's this thing called?"

"Massage chair." He closed the interface, looked at his father's bracelet, and put it back into the space.

Cao An was puzzled as he watched her conjure things out of thin air. "Where did you get these from?"

She pointed to her beauty mark and said, "This is it."

"Isn't this a mole?"

She shrugged, "Liu Daya doesn't have this. I brought this with me. It's the result of my parents' research. I even suspect they sent it to me."

"Why do you say that?"

"They had been researching a time-travel device. Before they died, they left me a will, asking me to drink a bottle of special liquid whenever I missed them. That night, I missed them so much that I found it and drank it. The next time I opened my eyes, I was in this era!"

Cao An felt like he was listening to a divine book; his twenty-something brain was completely inadequate. "So what's that on your forehead?"

"The space is like the Qiankun bag in ancient mythology."

"Can it hold a lot of things?"

"Yes, it's very big, about the size of ten football fields."
