Chapter 62 This is called a combo attack.

"Master of the Little Garden, although I often felt that you had a certainty that you did not put your own safety first, and I was prepared for it, I still did not expect you to do something so bold. You are truly worthy of your reputation."

Her familiar, calm tone, devoid of much sarcasm, still made me awkwardly turn my head away, unable to meet her closed eyes.

Even if I explain and shift the blame back to my supervisor, it won't change the current situation. To avoid further provoking their anger, I'll remain silent for now.

A soft sigh came from in front of me. Yao, who had misunderstood my intentions, unilaterally started the next topic: "In short, Master of the Box Garden, you will stay here so that you can more thoroughly eradicate this rampaging dragon beast, right? Although the idea is good, you find yourself helpless when you try to do it, don't you?"

“That’s perfect. Let us, the residents who are living in your little garden, do our part.”

us?

Just as I was wondering who she meant by "we," the space in front of me appeared as if a thin sheet of paper had been torn open, revealing a dark opening and the void behind it.

That was the door opened by the Void Walk.

But since Yao's head is right here, and he has said that he will help me, what is he doing now that he is doing a void walk again?

Before I could even ask a question, a blob that had been deliberately pushed from the opposite side of the door rolled perfectly to my feet and came to a slow, leisurely stop. Upon closer inspection, I saw that it was a blob of slime that shimmered with a pale blue light and was entangled with a familiar young hunting dog inside.

"Pfft?"

My surprised exclamation elicited a response from both of them—the former shifted the luster of its internal fluids and tried to leap towards me with a bouncy motion, while the latter simultaneously raised its head, curled its limbs, and swayed merrily from side to side with its shadowy tail.

It was possible that the two entangled together were still in a daze and hadn't recovered yet. The light inside the puff was scattered and mixed up, while the hound almost strangled its own neck and could only swing its limbs in the air, struggling in vain.

After finally separating the two, Pupu first came over and wrapped her arms around my ankle, while the hound also circled around me several times before excitedly sticking out her tongue and sitting obediently in front of me, while extending her front paws to step on a small part of Pupu's body, silently demonstrating her superior status.

Yao remained silent for a few seconds before finally revealing her plan.

In her explanation, although she was only present as a head, it was equivalent to her being there in person, and she could still use manipulation techniques for a considerable period of time to restrain the dragon beast's movements.

During this period under her control, I, Pupu, and the hound worked as a team to disrupt the dragon beast's vitality and mobility from the easier-to-break-through interior, while allowing those trembling before it to continue inflicting further injuries and gains on the outside. The goal was to achieve the objective of defeating it by encircling it from both sides.

"If Xiao An hadn't used up her powerful daily attack, our mission would have been much easier..."

Yao sighed softly, then quickly recovered from his reflection.

Communicating and cooperating with people from the outside world is indeed a challenge, but since everyone shares the same goal, there will always be moments of resonance. Moreover, the flaws created when the dragon beast was controlled by Yao were certainly obvious; only a fool would let it slip by out of suspicion and vigilance.

After a brief exchange and the recovery time for stamina and magic, I spoke with Pupu and the hound who were following closely beside me for a moment. After confirming that both of them had understood the instructions, I decided to carry out the plan.

Inside the trembling abdominal cavity, as Yao finally opened his pair of iridescent gemstone eyes that shone with dazzling brilliance, everything that had been roaring and turbulent suddenly came to a standstill, with only the surging blood in his veins and the intense pounding of his heart continuing.

A pale golden magic circle bloomed once more beneath my feet, and I simultaneously crushed multiple elemental stones of different attributes, filling the tilting elements into the silver-white blade. An impending explosion of power and calamity brewed within it, flickering lightning flashing with ominous sparks, before transforming into a condensed silver-gray sword beam with a swift strike towards the fleshy wall before me.

A piercing sound of tearing silk rang out. The first to rush forward, Pupu, gleefully welcomed the cascading blood, devouring it without hesitation, then using its own acid to corrode and widen the wound. The hound following closely behind took a step forward, transforming into a dim, blurry shadow, darting through the spirit realm towards its distant target with effortless speed. Only the shadow of its tail leaped like flames, seemingly scorching everything around it, leaving a scorch mark on its retina indicating its direction of travel.

I ordered Pupu to dive out first and devour any potentially dangerous liquid. I then followed suit, leaving no fewer than a dozen intersecting marks on the surrounding organs. I also cleaved the more important muscles in half and repeatedly corroded and burned them to prevent the dragon from regenerating itself.

We could clearly feel the dragon beast trembling in pain from the feedback under our feet. It was a pity that its size was too enormous and it was not good at taking care of its own body, so it could only let us, who were just tiny insects, rampage and wreak havoc inside it.

Wind and water attacks were rather ineffective here; instead, earth elemental attacks produced unexpected results: after burying a solid rock the size of myself inside one of my organs, I felt a far stronger tremor from the soles of my feet than before. Even Yao couldn't help but frown, indicating that the dragon beast had almost broken free of her control.

It's a bit unethical, but at least it's good enough.

As I recalled the report on "Case Studies and Analysis of Internal Organ Stones" that I had once glimpsed in my mind, I happily continued my stone-burying work. Compared to the much more strenuous lightning and slashing attacks that could only leave a small burn mark in this body with extremely high magic resistance, simply condensing stones and burying them was much easier.

This is not only about saving magic power, but also about planning for the future.

After Yao ends her control, if I lose all my magic power, I might risk dying inside the suddenly enraged dragon beast.

Soon, after I was certain that the "laying" work was basically completed and Yao sent me a message that her control was about to end, I returned to the dragon beast's stomach through the tunnel I had come from and found a dry spot.

The hunting dog just happened to pop out again, put down the bright red piece of meat with lots of blood and flesh it was carrying in its mouth, and wagged its tail happily.

What a terrible sight. Blood stained most of its fur, gluing its once smooth hair together, making it look as if it had been caught in a bloody rain.

Thinking about it this way, I must look just as wretched right now, so I shouldn't go back to the garden to avoid dirtying the ground.

With that thought in mind, I plunged my longsword into the ground to stabilize myself, and after creating a small shelter that could barely accommodate all of my men, I waited listlessly for the final outcome.
