Jiang Shuya felt a burning pain in her heart. She quickly turned her face away and hid behind the bamboo grove, quietly watching Lin Moxiao put away his luggage and get into the car.
She bit her lip, squatted down, clutched her aching heart, remained silent for a long time, and then tears streamed down her face again as she watched the car disappear from sight into the distance.
She should go home by now. She had a good cry and dragged her exhausted body through the plum blossom grove. Following the path she had come from, she walked for more than an hour, her legs aching and cramping, her feet numb and blistered, until she finally reached the subway station.
I took the subway and arrived at Lotus Apartment an hour later. I found that I had a headache and felt very cold. I changed out of my wet clothes, took a hot shower, changed into clean clothes, and couldn't wait to lie down on the bed.
Jiang Shuhuai returned after dark and found someone lying on the bed. He went over and called out twice, but there was no response.
Seeing his sister's flushed face, he reached out and touched it; "Oh dear, it's so hot, sister, you have a high fever."
Jiang Shuya was drowsy and confused. Jiang Shuhuai quickly took her temperature, made her a packet of fever reducer, and brought her some cephalosporin.
Sitting on the edge of the bed, I lifted my sister's head, put the medicine in her mouth, and poured it down her throat with water.
"Sis, this is cephalosporin, take it too. I'm worried your fever might cause tonsillitis. Does your head still hurt?"
Jiang Shuya groaned in discomfort, her head throbbing with pain. Jiang Shuhuai had no choice but to put the medicine in her mouth and force-feed it to her with boiled water.
