Chapter 250 Deep Affection

Back home, Jiang Shuya saw that it was getting late, so she temporarily put aside her plan to visit Tangtang. The two of them then tidied up the walk-in closet. After a while, all the clothes in the closet were neatly categorized and organized. She knew that Lin Moxiao was always very clean, but since they would be living together again in the future, they would have to compromise and communicate with each other.

Lin Moxiao stood at the door, holding her in his arms, a look of relief on his face.

"I never knew my wife was so capable! It's truly an eye-opener. I definitely didn't misjudge her."

Jiang Shuya chuckled and tapped his head, making a funny face:

"How's the tidying up of your study going? It looks really big; let's share it from now on!"

As they spoke, the two entered the study. The books on the bookshelf were neatly arranged, some even labeled, showing that Lin Moxiao was very meticulous. She secretly gave him full marks in her heart.

"You must be exhausted. Get some rest. Tomorrow I'll go with you to Jiangdao to see Tangtang. Do you think she'll like the gift I bought her today?"

Jiang Shuya looked at the lifelike doll toy, lost in thought:

"She's still so young; even the best toys only hold her interest for a few days. She must miss me! It's been two months since I last saw her; she must have grown quite a bit taller."

Lin Moxiao embraced her tenderly.

"Okay, you're too tired today. You'll see her tomorrow. Be good, go take a shower and rest."

"Okay, I'll go first."

A short while later, the sound of running water came from the bathroom. Lin Moxiao got up and went to another room to take a look. He stood there thinking for a while. This room was currently empty. It faced south and had excellent natural light. He had specifically reserved it when he bought the room, intending to use it as a children's room in the future. It seemed that this plan would have to be brought forward.

That night, the two lay in bed, Jiang Shuya nestled in his arms, and Lin Moxiao played with her hair with his fingers.

"Xiaoya, will you come with me to the plum garden to see my grandparents the day after tomorrow?"

"Hmm." She nodded, then looked up and gazed into his eyes.

"I really want to know when you fell for me in high school, and why I don't remember at all."

Upon hearing her question, Lin Moxiao suddenly remembered something and said:

"A month before your college entrance exam, did you suffer a severe head injury from an impact? Although you recovered, the nerves in your brain were damaged, and you may experience fragmented amnesia later on. That's why you didn't remember me at all when you first saw me at the Bijiang Hotel."

Jiang Shuyue is your older sister. In your family life, they naturally wouldn't notice you; your presence would be overshadowed. But I'm not someone who frequently appears in your life, so it's normal for them to forget me. Besides, you didn't really like me back then.

As he finished speaking, a hint of disappointment flickered in his eyes. Jiang Shuya noticed it, put her arms around his neck, and leaned closer.

Thank you for always liking me. From now on, you'll be the only one in my heart.

Lin Moxiao smiled warmly, pulled her close, rolled over, pinned her beneath him, and stroked her long hair with his hand.

"Are you still tired? Can you go on?"

She shyly pushed him away, her face flushed. Her eyes were glazed as she looked at the man who was looking at her. She knew that this man was too strong in that area, and she couldn't handle it at all. She didn't know why he was so enthusiastic about it. Although she could experience the pleasure at first, she mostly felt overwhelmed and in pain.

"We did it yesterday, so let's not do it again today. You can't do this too often, it'll hurt your health." She said tactfully, turned over, and closed her eyes.

He moved closer to her, wrapped his arm around her slender waist, pulled her into his embrace, and whispered in her ear:

"Xiaoya, the first time I saw you was in that classroom. You were holding a thick book and came to find Jiang Shuyue. I was explaining a problem to her at the time. You walked towards her with a smile. I knew from that one glance that I had found the best love."

I stared at you blankly back then, as if all the flowers and plants in the world had lost their color. Really, I fell in love with you then. Could it be considered love at first sight? Well, later, I got hurt. Actually, I did it on purpose. I knew you liked to read in the bushes by the flower bed on the playground. Every time I passed by there, I would secretly look at you.

That time it rained, I was injured, and when you passed by, I deliberately let out a pitiful scream. You fell for it, and helped me to the infirmary. You calmly asked about my wound, and I just stared at you, not remembering what I said at the time.

He murmured memories of his past, a joyful smile spreading across his face as he looked at her in his arms, who was already snoring softly.

He smiled helplessly, hugged her tightly, and they fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next day, Jiang Shuya got up lazily and saw that it was already bright. She stretched and turned her head to find that the person lying next to her had gotten up at some point.

She quickly got out of bed, dressed, and went to the bathroom. Once everything was ready, she could vaguely smell a delicious aroma wafting from the kitchen. This overpowering fragrance assaulted her nostrils, causing her stomach to rumble.

So she followed the aroma to the kitchen, and when she went inside, she saw Lin Moxiao carefully taking a freshly baked cake out of the oven.

Her face immediately lit up with a bright smile, and she hugged him from behind.

He turned around and smiled: "Are you hungry? It'll be ready soon. I made extra; the soufflé and honey cake are quite soft, so Tangtang should be able to eat them. Children shouldn't eat too much sugar while they're teething, so I only added a small amount. She should be able to eat them."

His actions brought tears to her eyes, and she kept nodding behind his back.

The two sat at the dining table, exchanging smiles as if they had been separated for a long time. Jiang Shuya ate the bread he had made; it was soft and fragrant, sweet and chewy. She kept marveling at it, giving him a thumbs up.

"You're the second best cook I've ever met."

"Who's number one?" he asked.

"Zhang Xiaohui from Huijie's Food Workshop is my partner."

He nodded and didn't say anything more. Just then, the doorbell rang. Lin Moxiao put down his fork and went to open the door.

He took a bouquet of roses from the man's hand.

"Honey, this is for you. I ordered flowers for six months and had them moved to our home instead of your shop."

Jiang Shuya held the bouquet of flowers, thought for a moment,

"I'm going to find a vase to put it in. I really like it. I'll ask them to send over some other varieties later so I can rotate them."

"Okay, whatever you like."
