Before the two could make a sound, Li Ke took them into her spatial storage. Li Ke put her shoes into the storage, and wearing only thick socks, she went out and looked outside. The corridor was still empty.
Quietly approaching the stairwell, Li Ke saw a guard sitting at the corner, dozing off with his eyes half-closed. Li Ke silently and swiftly slipped behind the man and instantly snapped his neck.
After descending the stairs, Li Ke carefully eliminated two more people, storing their bodies in his spatial storage before finally reaching the living room door where Tanaka and Zhuang Yihao were meeting.
Li Ke pressed her ear against the door and vaguely heard Tanaka say something like, "Are you sure you can get her to tell the truth?"
“Use both soft and hard tactics. If she still doesn’t know what’s good for her, there’s no need to be polite to her. Tanaka, you’ve never been a kind person, so why are you so hesitant about this?” It was Zhuang Yihao’s voice.
Li Ke tried to gently push the door open a crack, and Tanaka's voice came through again: "What I want is my money and supplies. As long as she's willing to tell me these things, being a little friendly to her is nothing. I don't have the luxury of making one mistake after another. If your involvement doesn't help me and instead messes things up, Robert, don't blame me for sticking to my guns."
The door finally opened a crack, and Li Ke peered inside. The living room was quite large, but there were quite a few people standing there, probably fifty or sixty in total. Tanaka and Zhuang Yihao, those two guys, seemed to value their lives quite a bit.
The living room was lit entirely by lamps and a stove fire. The windows were blocked by heavy snow. The only exit was the front door that Li Ke was guarding. If they didn't act now, when would they?
It's rare to have so many people gathered together, and she's already taken care of everyone outside. It couldn't be better.
Li Ke stopped listening to what they were saying, took out a gas mask from her spatial storage, put it on, produced six or seven tear gas canisters and smoke grenades and threw them into the living room, then slipped into her room.
Once the living room was completely obscured by smoke and the people inside were in chaos, Li Ke immediately released a bunch of sandbags to seal the door shut.
Then he rushed into the smoke, wielding a baseball bat, and knocked out his targets one by one, knocking them down one after another, by hitting them directly on the back of the head.
The living room was filled with curses, and people were running around like headless flies, coughing incessantly from being choked by the smoke. Li Ke didn't bother to tell who was who; he just focused on knocking everyone down.
The whole process took about ten minutes. Some people noticed something was wrong and tried to resist, but Li Ke simply threw sandbags or cement bags to knock them down and trap them, and then knocked them unconscious.
This confrontation was absolutely crushing. It was a one-man show by Li Ke. From closing the door to taking down everyone, Li Ke didn't even break a sweat before the battle was over.
Li Ke took out handcuffs, leg irons, a black cloth mask, and rope, tied everyone up, and threw them into a dark container in her space.
After dealing with these people, Li Ke searched the house carefully again. He didn't find any more people, but he did find a room full of dry food and convenience products, as well as some canned rice and flour. He also found several pistols and nearly a thousand rounds of ammunition in several other rooms. It wasn't much, but Li Ke took it all.
He then went to the backyard and stored the small plane away, and also found some special fuel, which Li Ke also took.
Then Li Ke changed into clothes similar to those of the guards here, walked into the ski slope, and went to the place where Zhuang Yihao and his men had met before.
This is a two-story building, completely buried in snow, with only a snow hole cleared at the entrance. Li Ke, dressed in men's clothing and wrapped up tightly, knocked on the door.
The person inside opened the door a crack; the chain still hung on it. Seemingly unable to confirm Li Ke's identity, he asked, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Li Ke, wearing a voice changer, replied, "The boss told me to come and pick up that woman."
"Which boss? I've never seen you before?" The person inside the door looked at Li Ke's figure and felt completely unfamiliar with him.
Li Ke directly reprimanded the other party: "Why are you talking so much nonsense? You've delayed the boss's business, go and take your punishment!"
The man remained unmoved: "Give me the code first."
Li Ke pulled out a silenced pistol and pointed it at the person through the open door: "How about this signal? Open the door!"
The man hesitated to move, but didn't want to open the door immediately. Li Ke fired directly, hitting him in the middle of the forehead. The man's eyes were open, seemingly not expecting Li Ke to fire without giving him even a second to hesitate.
Li Ke then used his gun to break the chains, pushed open the door and went inside. The room was rather cold, and the only person on the first floor was the already dead man.
After searching around, Li Ke finally reached the second floor. He faintly heard a woman's soft sobs and a man's panting. Sensing something was wrong, Li Ke immediately walked towards the direction from which the sounds were coming.
Upon reaching the door, Li Ke kicked it open. Li Meng's hands and feet were tied to the bed, and a man was assaulting her.
The man's upper body clothes were still intact; he had only taken off his heavy coat and pants. Li Meng's mouth was also gagged, and her face was covered in tears.
Hearing the door being kicked open, the man, still somewhat dazed, looked towards the doorway. Li Ke immediately shot the man in the buttocks, who screamed and fell off the bed clutching his backside.
Li Ke walked over and kicked him in the head, then covered Li Meng, who was almost completely naked from the front, with the clothes on the bed, and took out a knife to cut all the ropes binding her hands and feet.
"Spare me! Please spare my life! I was just confused for a moment. I will never do it again!" The man who had been shot fell to the ground, begging for mercy. He didn't know who the other person was, but he knew that the gun in the other person's hand was very powerful.
