The plane flew slowly through the snowy night, with light snow falling. It didn't fly very high, and Li Ke flew for more than half an hour before finally landing the plane about ten kilometers away from the shelter.
The main road, which is usually cleared, is now covered with a thick layer of snow. When the plane landed there, it taxied for quite a while before finally crashing into a snowdrift by the roadside.
Li Ke told Li Meng to sit on the plane: "I'll go find the law enforcement team to pick you up. You wait here."
Li Meng was a little worried: "It's so far, can you manage by yourself? Do you want me to come with you?"
Li Ke jumped off the plane, took out his skiing gear, and asked her, "Can you ski?"
Li Meng shook her head. She really couldn't do it. It only snowed two or three times a year at most in her hometown, and she had no athletic ability whatsoever. She couldn't even roller skate.
Li Ke closed the plane door, put on his gear, and took off. Li Meng watched his figure disappear into the snowy night, and could only hug the pistol in her arms to give herself a sense of security.
Li Ke arrived at the law enforcement team's post in less than half an hour, and said to the guns of the law enforcement team: "There is a plane crash ten kilometers away, and there is a woman inside. We need you to rescue her."
"Who are you? How can we be sure you're telling the truth?" the law enforcement officer asked, gun in hand.
Li Ke: "That woman is the person your captain Xiao Yi is looking for. I'm a disaster victim who's spending the winter outside, and I was just trying to help. If you don't believe me, you can walk along the highway for four or five kilometers, and you'll see the plane's lights. I suggest you drive; that woman has a lot of stuff."
The law enforcement team was skeptical of Li Ke's words. Li Ke was dressed in men's clothing and wore a voice changer. In addition, she was not short and moved nimbly. The other party did not suspect that she was a woman at all.
Another person in the guard post whispered in the ear of the person on duty, "Could it be that Li Ke has returned? Isn't the captain currently investigating her whereabouts? Should we send someone to check?"
The guard thought for a moment and agreed that he should go check: "Go to the cell and call a couple more brothers to warm up the car. It's too cold outside. If you find someone, go and come back as soon as possible."
Hearing that they had reached an agreement, Li Ke prepared to leave: "I have delivered the message, so I will be going now."
The law enforcement officers stopped him: "Wait, you have to lead the way. If you give false information, you'll also be interrogated."
Li Ke didn't care; she could still get away on the way: "Then hurry up, it's cold outside."
Fifteen minutes later, Li Ke was gliding ahead, with a car following behind her. When they were about two kilometers away from the plane, Li Ke glided into the nearby woods and quickly disappeared from sight.
The enforcement team's vehicle paused for a moment, but ultimately decided to abandon the man and head towards the plane.
