Li Ke arrived at the prisoner-of-war rest area in Zone 1, which was a row of reinforced bungalows. The bungalows were quite tall, and all the large windows were sealed off, except for a small skylight at the very top, about twenty centimeters long.
Li Ke can't get close right now. The guards here are much more attentive than those at the equipment department. There are two guards at the front and back gates, and the skylight is right above their heads. They also change shifts every fifteen minutes.
The equipment department could be discovered at any moment, so Li Ke had to speed up. After observing for a while, she quickly ran to the back window and stood against the wall when the two shifts changed at the front door. That was the spot where the shift changers would stand when they returned.
Upon hearing the noise and approaching, Li Ke entered her space and stayed there for about three minutes. Then, she suddenly appeared, and sure enough, there were two guards standing in front of her. Before they could react, Li Ke covered them with a large black net, instantly bringing them into her space, where she swiftly dealt with them.
When she came out again, Li Ke had changed into the clothes of one of the guards and was wearing a similar cotton mask. The difference was that she had added a pair of goggles. She had also arranged the body of the other guard in a cross-legged position on the ground.
With twelve minutes left, Li Ke pulled over a ladder and placed it under the skylight. He then began to climb up. The ladder was supposed to be for their own people to go up through the skylight and observe the prisoners inside, but now it was convenient for Li Ke.
Li Ke glanced at the prisoners inside. There were about twenty people, each wearing handcuffs and shackles. It seemed the bandits were quite wary of this group.
There were three small skylights nearby, but Li Ke didn't have time to waste on any one of them. She used brute force to tear open the iron bars on the skylights. People inside heard the noise and looked up in that direction.
Li Ke looked at the number of people and lowered a batch of firearms and ample ammunition down. There was also a large pair of shears, enough to cut their restraints. When the people below saw the items being lowered down in batches, they walked over in unison without making a sound.
After delivering everything, Li Ke whispered to the people below, "You only have nine minutes left to break down the door. Hurry up, I'm going to deliver things to the others. The people who are changing shifts later will notice something is wrong."
The people below nodded silently and began to quickly disassemble the firearms. Li Ke watched their orderly movements and sighed inwardly, thinking that he had really met some amazing teammates. No wonder he was being treated specially.
Without stopping, Li Ke quickly moved to the next window, then sent in the corresponding equipment, agreed on a time, and rushed to the next window again.
After the last delivery was completed, Li Ke was about to tell them that there were only three minutes left when he heard gunshots and the sound of doors being broken down one after another. It must have been the first and second groups of people who had already started moving. These people were really impatient.
Li Ke climbed onto the skylight and looked at the people in the last room. Two people were guarding the door, observing outside through the crack. The others were dismantling supplies and cutting shackles, working with incredible efficiency, not wasting a single minute. It seemed they were in a hurry too.
Li Ke felt like she was being superfluous. She silently and quickly climbed down the ladder, put on her guard uniform, and started running towards the dungeon with a large black backpack on her back. She had only taken a few steps when she felt she was being watched. She immediately turned around, gun in hand, and upon seeing the person, said angrily, "I'm the one delivering your equipment, are you blind?!"
The man pointing the gun at her was very tall, with a full beard, his upper body was naked and covered in scars, he wore long pants and no shoes, and his feet were unusually large. He should have looked very disheveled, but his posture was relaxed and his body was upright, which only made people feel that he was strong and majestic.
The other person seemed to chuckle: "I can tell, you didn't fire a shot."
Li Ke felt frustrated. She had almost thought she was going to be killed again. She raised her gun and made a threatening gesture at him, then ran towards the target. The other person followed behind her. Li Ke glanced at him and saw that he was keeping watch for her, so she didn't say anything more and let him follow her as she ran towards the dungeon in the middle of Zone 1.
The area was in complete chaos, with gunfire everywhere and many guards dead on the ground. When Li Ke arrived at the dungeon, he saw that someone had already cut the dungeon chains, opened the iron gate on the ground, and thrown down the bolt cutters and ladder.
Seeing how proactive these people were, Li Ke realized there was nothing for her to do here. She shouted "Hi!" to them and threw a bag of weapons at them. One of them caught it easily with one hand.
The backpack contained five rifles, five pistols, nearly a thousand rounds of ammunition, and more than a dozen bombs, weighing around 100 pounds. Li Ke carried it without difficulty because her physical fitness had improved and she hadn't neglected her regular training. But even so, asking her to catch it with one hand... she had never actually done it before. She would try it when she had the chance.
The people in the dungeon had already climbed out and started distributing equipment. Watching their movements, Li Ke felt that the people he had rescued didn't seem like ordinary people. With that thought in mind, Li Ke quickly turned around and ran in another direction. Since the people here had broken out, some people from other camps also needed to be released.
Li Ke planned her route in her mind. She intended to release the people while making her escape. The people from District 1 had escaped, so it seemed that she was no longer needed here, and she didn't want to have much contact with the people here.
