Looking at the pitiful young man, Li Ke decisively kicked him in the lower half of his face, leaving him with a mouthful of blood. Judging from the sound, at least two of his teeth were broken.
Having vented his anger, Li Ke turned to look at the other injured people and stepped on one of their legs, right where there was a bullet hole. The man was tough and groaned in pain.
Suddenly, a head popped out from the side and tried to bump into Li Ke's leg, but Niu Dazhuang, who had appeared out of nowhere, punched it back.
Niu Dazhuang kicked the man again: "Behave yourself, or I'll break your third leg right now and make sure you can never get hard again!"
Ignoring Niu Dazhuang, who was automatically acting as a henchman, Li Ke asked the group, "What are you doing here?"
None of the people spoke. Niu Dazhuang kicked out, and the person who was hit immediately screamed and shrank into a worm.
"Go ahead and kill us if you dare, we won't say a word!" one of them replied defiantly.
Li Ke snorted and ordered Niu Dazhuang, "Strip them naked and search their bodies thoroughly. Do it one by one, be careful. These people are trained; don't give them a chance to fight back."
Niu Dazhuang turned and gave instructions to his men, while Li Ke walked to the cave entrance and looked around. She was no longer fixated on the three stones; she was now focused on any place where the timing and location were right.
If there really were such a large amount of supplies, Akiyama and the others would be under much less pressure, and Li Ke would have to deal with them even less often.
Niu Dazhuang ran over again and stood next to Li Ke, following her gaze. He asked with some curiosity, "Little brother, what are you looking for? Tell me, and I'll help you look. My eyesight is famously sharp."
Li Ke turned to look at Niu Dazhuang, who was wrapped up like a one-eyed dragon, and replied, "Find the auspicious place where the treasure is hidden. Use your bull eyes to take a good look. If you really find it, I'll give you half, and we'll take the other half."
"Huh, good stuff? Gold and silver treasures? Those things aren't very useful now. Could the treasure in these mountains be some kind of old tomb?" Niu Dazhuang's mind raced, and he rambled on.
Li Ke didn't hide anything from him and said directly, "It's possible that Boss Cheng hid a batch of supplies here. They contain exactly what you need right now, but they need to be inspected by us before we can give them to you."
Niu Dazhuang opened his mouth wide, and after a long while, he said, "You just told me everything like that? Little brother, I knew you were a man of integrity."
As he spoke, Niu Dazhuang opened his arms to hug Li Ke, but Li Ke couldn't help but slap him. Then the two of them stared at each other in disbelief.
