Upon receiving his mother's frozen body, Mo Ze did not hesitate and instructed the mortuary staff to temporarily store the body until it thawed before burial. He had no doubts about his wife and mother-in-law.
What made Chen Jiaojiao even happier next was that Mo Ze was no longer able to work, a piece of news she had heard from another woman.
Later, she confronted Mo Ze and interrogated him, but Mo Ze, enraged, slapped her. Chen Jiaojiao immediately screamed, calling for her mother, and retaliated, scratching Mo Ze's face so badly that he couldn't go out and see anyone for half a month.
After this battle, Chen Jiaojiao completely suppressed Mo Ze and became the undisputed mistress of the Mo family. Li Zhenzhen also moved in with her after her repeated insistence.
Mo Ze lost his manhood and became a coward. Although Chen Jiaojiao disliked him, his status as a member of the Mo family was still useful, so she never thought of killing him.
In the new base, their living space was smaller than before, but it was still a spacious two-bedroom apartment located on the second basement floor.

Chen Jiaojiao said indifferently, "Who cares about others? Besides, there are plenty of people who are doing worse than me. Mom, things are different now than before. Nothing is as substantial as food and drink. If you saw those people living on the ground, you would know how miserable their lives are."
Li Zhenzhen stopped talking. In the past two years, since Jiaojiao has been able to make her own decisions, she has stopped listening to many things.
Chen Jiaojiao said happily, "Mom, light another candle. I brought back a chicken and a box of peanuts today. Let's have a good meal. I now understand that no matter how hard life is, those with power and influence don't suffer. They still have wine and meat, and they live a wonderful life."
Li Zhenzhen sensed something was off about what Chen Jiaojiao was saying. She knew Chen Jiaojiao had a boyfriend, but he was only of average means: "What are you talking about? Didn't you go to see your boyfriend?"
Chen Jiaojiao seemed to have had a few drinks, and she chuckled as she said, "I went to see my boyfriend, but he's a new boyfriend."
