Chapter 31 Issuing Certificates

Because of the banter with this man, Li Ke relaxed a bit. The man opposite her sighed, "We're all just people with bitter fates, sigh!"

Li Ke finally picked out five ID cards, kept them all face down without showing the other person the front, and then took the three driver's licenses into her hand: "Together, how much?"

"Five thousand, I'll give you a 20% discount, four thousand," the other party said with a smile.

Li Ke looked at the man and said, "Brother, this is a risk-free business for you. I'm at my wit's end. Four thousand can buy me a month's worth of painkillers."

The person opposite him put their hands together and said, "Alright, alright, you're my older brother, I'll give you two thousand, let's be friends."

As Li Ke took out his money, he asked, "Where did you get these certificates? These people didn't commit crimes either, did they?"

The man said, "Absolutely not, their background is clean. I can't say more, there are rules in this business, brother."

Li Ke separated from the man and took a car to the station. At 2 p.m., she boarded the high-speed train back to her hometown. When she got off the train, it was already 6 p.m.

The stop she got off at was more than four hours away from the small county town where Li Ke had grown up, and Li Ke did not travel at night.

She's currently homeless in that small county town, and if she goes there, she'll need to find a hotel. Besides, after meeting the person who helped her get the documents, Li Ke had some new ideas because of his explanation.

Li Ke searched for nearby night markets on her phone, then took a taxi directly to the food street to stock up on some hot food so she could easily stock up on other items later.

Li Ke scoured the night market from one end to the other, packing up large quantities of any snacks she liked. She was pushing a large shopping cart covered with a cloth bag, and she would put all her purchases into it without anyone noticing anything amiss.

During this shopping spree, Li Ke bought a lot of food, spending a total of 27,000 yuan. Three hours had passed, and the night market was still bustling, but Li Ke decided to cancel the purchase.

After finding a hotel nearby to stay in, Li Ke began planning her itinerary for the next month.

The next day, before dawn, Li Ke checked out of the hotel and found a place outside to change into the disguise she had prepared in advance. This time, she appeared as a sturdy young man. To avoid making strange rubbing noises when walking, she practiced and modified many parts beforehand.

Taking out the small card he received at the station yesterday, Li Ke contacted a long-distance bus driver and boarded a bus bound for a neighboring province.

Li Ke had no other requirements, just that the journey be fast and steady. She paid a good amount of money, and the driver knew the route well. When Li Ke arrived, it was just past noon.

After paying, Li Ke took a taxi again, this time heading to the used car market. This time, she spent two hours buying a nearly brand-new used van and a used men's motorcycle, and both test-drives went well.

Li Ke paid a deposit of 10,000 yuan and asked the person in charge to help buy several barrels of gasoline and load them into the car. She asked the other party to take her and the car to a mountain pass in a town. The people on the other side were also cautious. In addition to the driver, there was another car with three people in it.

The transaction was completed smoothly at the mountain pass, with a payment of 54,000. Li Ke watched the people drive away, and after a while, he drove his car towards the small town with its winding mountain roads.
