A day had passed outside, and night had fallen again. Li Ke ordered the people behind her to help Cheng Chenwei walk forward without looking back, while she stayed behind. After confirming that there was no one else around, she used a single thought to store the research institute, which she had already marked, five meters behind her into her own space, leaving only a huge sinkhole in place.
An hour later, Li Ke and Cheng Chenwei boarded the ship. Cheng Chenwei was now awake. Li Ke did not immediately order the ship to depart, but generously gave Cheng Chenwei an hour to handle the follow-up operations on the island under her watchful eye.
Aside from secretly luring or kidnapping some islanders who passed the medical examination into the laboratory, the island's operations were generally fine. Of course, life was tough, so the islanders were exploited in terms of their wages, but Li Ke ignored this. If they couldn't bear it, someone would naturally rebel, so she didn't need to worry about it.
By the time Cheng Chenwei finished arranging everything, it was already getting light. Li Ke ordered the ship to set sail. Cheng Chenwei felt the ship getting further and further away from the shore, but she felt very uneasy.
"What's the situation at the research institute? Can you tell me? I was unconscious before, and no arrangements were made. You can't still have the system locked, can you? The supplies inside can only last for a month at most. Who knows how long we'll be gone?" Cheng Chenwei asked with a heavy expression.
Li Ke remained silent, led the man to the stern of the ship, gave him a telescope, and told him to look for himself.
Cheng Chenwei didn't understand Li Ke's meaning, but she still took the binoculars and looked towards the island as Li Ke instructed.
The mist was dissipating, the air was still chilly, and although the sky was getting brighter, there were still few people out and about on the island; everything seemed the same as always.
Cheng Chenwei was a little confused: "What do you want me to see? I didn't see anyone."
Seeing that Li Ke was still staring into the distance without saying a word, Cheng Chenwei had no choice but to continue looking through the binoculars. He moved them back and forth two or three times before rubbing his eyes in disbelief, then wiping the lens, and continuing to look at that point.
After looking for two seconds, he put down the binoculars, blinked, and looked again. The place that should have been his research institute was now completely gone, except for some nearby buildings. His semi-circular treasure had completely disappeared.
Cheng Chenwei was stunned for a while before suddenly grabbing Li Ke with her left hand and questioning her, "Where did you move my research institute? Do you know how much valuable data was in there? Do you know how much effort and how many years it took to build this research institute?"
Li Ke slapped him away: "Remember, I don't care what you're thinking. You must absolutely obey my orders, otherwise, you will never have the chance to continue your research in this lifetime."
