She had recounted it several times before. She hadn't done anything particularly egregious, yet Li Ke acted as if he were insane. Those cold, ruthless eyes were deeply imprinted in her mind; Chen Jiaojiao believed that Li Ke truly didn't care about her life or death at that moment.
"Mom, do you think she's really gone mad? You have no idea how terrifying she was back then. I almost died at her hands, and there wasn't a trace of human emotion in her eyes."

"Sooner or later! Sooner or later! When is 'sooner or later'? Mom, do you value her more? Is all your love for me fake?" Chen Jiaojiao didn't want to wait at all. She pushed Li Zhenzhen away and angrily questioned her.
