At this point, what didn't Li Ke understand? What good stuff could this shameless scoundrel, who showed up uninvited in the middle of the night, be carrying?
She covered her mouth and nose and said to Zhuang Weifeng, "I didn't drink that milk. I have a fever and feel terrible. Please call a doctor or get some fever reducers for me."

Chen Jiaojiao volunteered to stay and take care of Li Ke. Li Ke didn't want to say anything and naturally went along with their arrangements.
Less than half an hour later, the family doctor arrived from Zhuang Yihao's villa with a medicine kit. Li Ke's temperature had been measured at nearly 39 degrees Celsius, indicating a high fever.
However, when the doctor came and measured her temperature again, it had returned to just over 38 degrees Celsius.
Li Ke's condition was clearly very serious to the naked eye, with no signs of improvement. The doctor first gave Li Ke a special antipyretic injection, and then administered intravenous fluids.
"Her condition will improve after the IV drip is finished. If her fever breaks by tomorrow morning, she should be fine. Someone will need to stay with her tonight to monitor her condition," the doctor said.
The doctor will also be staying at Zhuang Weifeng's castle tonight, but keeping watch is not his job, and the girl in front of him is not in such a serious condition.
He would come back to check on Li Ke's condition again after daybreak.
After more than an hour of fussing, everyone had left Li Ke's room, except for Chen Jiaojiao, who sat on the edge of her bed with a concerned look on her face.
After just one injection, less than half an hour later, Li Ke already felt much better. She started sweating on her head and body, and closed her eyes to rest.
Chen Jiaojiao sat quietly for a while, then turned off the main light in the room, leaving only a bedside lamp with soft light.
She assumed Li Ke had fallen asleep, so she started walking around the room.
Listening to her rustling noises, Li Ke finally opened her eyes and saw Chen Jiaojiao with her back to her, groping for something in front of the dressing table in the room.
Li Ke remembered that her handbag seemed to be placed there.
Li Ke coughed slightly, and Chen Jiaojiao was startled and immediately turned around.
Li Ke looked at her and said, "Are you looking for my phone? Idiot, how could I possibly put those things on my phone? And why would I only keep one copy?"
Li Ke's voice wasn't as cold as usual, and it sounded a bit stuffy, but her words were still very impolite. Chen Jiaojiao's frightened expression calmed down, and she pretended to be innocent, saying, "I don't know what you're talking about? I was just a little bored sitting there, so I got up to walk around."
Li Ke snorted: "Don't think I can't deal with you just because I'm weak now. Chen Jiaojiao, do you want to relive what happened before?"
Looking at Li Ke, who was weak but still full of spirit, Chen Jiaojiao quickly lowered her stance, realizing that Li Ke had leverage over her: "I understand, I won't do it again."
Although she now wished Li Ke would die from the fire or from the disease, this was abroad, in Zhuang Weifeng's castle, and she had no help. They would not allow such a thing to happen.
Chen Jiaojiao also couldn't find Li Ke's phone and wasn't sure if Li Ke had any other tricks up his sleeve. She just hadn't expected Li Ke to be so vigilant even when he was sick.
"Go out, I want to rest alone for a while. I don't want to see your face right now." Li Ke's forehead was sweating profusely, and her body was starting to feel hot. She was already feeling uncomfortable under three layers of blankets and didn't want to get entangled with Chen Jiaojiao any longer.

Chen Jiaojiao couldn't find Li Ke's phone, and now that she'd been found out, she couldn't achieve her goal, so she didn't want to keep up the act with Li Ke.

After daybreak, Li Ke's fever finally subsided, but she didn't seem to be much better. She looked completely drained, lying pitifully on the bed like a paper doll.
Zhuang Weifeng and Nie Wenliang both felt sorry for the girl; she had truly been bullied terribly by Qin Mingyue.
In the afternoon, all the invited guests had left Zhuang Yihao's castle, leaving only Mr. Tanaka with some matters to attend to.
The two talked in the study for a while, then opened a mechanism on the bookshelf, revealing an underground entrance.
Mr. Tanaka is about to leave, and before he does, he wants to choose something from the treasure vault to take with him.
After descending into the basement, the two worked together to open the treasure vault door. Upon seeing the scene before them, they were both stunned into disbelief.
