In this round, several people who had won several rounds in a row pushed all their chips out, and the pretty girl next to me only kept ten chips, betting the rest.
"I have a feeling we'll definitely win this round with these ten as a safety net. Do you want to join in and go for a big hand? I think you're too cautious; you won't find much fun at the poker table like that." The pretty young woman leaned on the table with one hand, turning to face Li Ke, her body curves very graceful.
Li Ke nodded in agreement: "Okay, I trust you, I'll go with you for the big one."
He pushed all the chips in front of him out, and the pretty girl seemed pleased, laughing happily: "If you win, I'll treat you to something delicious."
They won again this round. Since only he and the pretty girl were betting small this time, their chips multiplied several times. Li Ke's chips suddenly reached 10,000, while the pretty girl next to him reached 50,000.
The losers were cursing angrily, their faces contorted in rage. The pretty young woman smiled and put away her chips, saying to the staff member next to her, "Exchange them for a thousand chips."
Li Ke made the same request as her, and then the pretty girl led him away from the gambling table: "Let's move on to another place and then continue playing. If we keep winning in the same place, people will be envious."
Holding ten chips in his hand, Li Ke asked the young woman, "Are you a regular here? You seem very familiar with this place."
"I wouldn't call myself a regular customer; this is my third time here, so I have some experience here," the young woman replied naturally.
A waiter walked by with drinks. The pretty young woman took two cups, handed one to Li Ke, and led him to a pillar to rest.
Li Ke smelled the drink in his hand; it was alcohol. The girl took small sips, and after a few times, only half a glass remained.
"Why aren't you drinking? This is good stuff; you can't get to drink this often outside. One of the reasons I came here is because there's good food and drinks here," the girl asked when she saw Li Ke holding the wine glass but not drinking.
Li Ke pushed the lower half of his mask up a bit, took a sip, and then said, "I'm not very interested in alcohol. Do you come here often? Do you live around here or work here? Could you tell me about this place?"
The pretty young woman looked up at Li Ke, a half-smile on her face: "What do you want to know?"
