Upon hearing this, the bodyguard chuckled, "Are you siblings?"
"I don't want to be his sister! It's bad luck!" Gu Ningning said coldly.
"Do you have any money on you right now?" The bodyguard glanced at her disdainfully. "You even had your phone confiscated before you came in."
Gu Ningning pursed her lips and said in a negotiating tone, "If you're willing to lend me your phone to make a call, my dad will definitely grant you all your requests!"
"Hahaha, do you think I'm as stupid as your brother?" The bodyguard couldn't help but laugh.
Seeing this, Gu Ningning pursed her lips and hesitated for several seconds before reaching out to pull the necklace out of her clothes and taking it off.
“I can give you the necklace,” Gu Ningning said, taking off a ruby necklace. “This necklace is worth three million US dollars, it’s yours.”
The bodyguard took the necklace with a skeptical look, and sneered, "You think it's worth three million just because you say so?"
Gu Ningning calmly said, "This was a picture my brother took to give to my sister-in-law, but I liked it, so it's mine now."
"Your sister-in-law?" The bodyguard held up the necklace and examined it. "So she's our young lady?"
“Yes, that’s right.” Gu Ningning rolled her eyes and said irritably.
"Oh!" The bodyguard nodded. "Then it's returned to its rightful owner."
"What?" Gu Ningning looked at the bodyguard in disbelief.
“I said, since this necklace was originally intended as a gift for our young lady, it’s now being returned to its rightful owner. It can’t be considered something you asked me to do,” the bodyguard said calmly.
Gu Ningning stared wide-eyed at the bodyguard in disbelief. She simply couldn't believe what she was hearing. She had clearly gotten the necklace from Gu Qingyan, so how had it become a gift for Shen Zhi Qiu?
She felt wronged and angry, as if she had been tricked by the bodyguard.
"What do you mean by this? Are you trying to renege on your promise?" Gu Ningning asked angrily.
The bodyguard calmly replied, "You said it yourself. Since the necklace was originally meant for our young lady, and you shamelessly asked for it and wore it for a while, it's now being returned."
Gu Ningning was furious upon hearing this. Pointing her finger at the bodyguard, she yelled, "You bastard, how could you do this? This necklace was a gift from my brother!"
The bodyguard remained unmoved, saying, "You took it from our young lady; you're the shameless one."
Gu Ningning's heart sank, and she couldn't help but press her lips down. She was unwilling to lose the necklace just like that.
She decided to go all out.
She lunged forward, trying to snatch the necklace back from the bodyguard.
The bodyguard smiled faintly and easily dodged Gu Ningning's sneak attack.
"Alright, you're out of leverage now. Stop getting in the way and go check on your good-for-nothing brother. Don't forget, you're a team, bound together. If he doesn't finish, you won't get anything to eat either."
A hint of hatred flashed in Gu Ningning's eyes, but she knew that even if she resisted, it would be like throwing an egg against a rock. So she lowered her head and walked towards Gu Qingyan.
Gu Qingyan was already sweating profusely in the field, but he didn't care about his usual elite image anymore. He casually wiped the sweat off his face with his mud-covered sleeve, making him look quite comical.
Gu Ningning walked up to him and glared at him fiercely.
But Gu Qingyan didn't mind Gu Ningning's bad attitude towards him. Instead, he asked with a smile, "Ningning, do you think I did a better job than before?"
Gu Ningning glanced at it without looking at it, and just nodded perfunctorily, saying, "It's alright."
"What's wrong? Ningning, I know I didn't do well before, and now we're both trapped here," Gu Qingyan said in a low voice. "If the two of us fight amongst ourselves, there's definitely no way out. Only if we unite and face the outside world together can we possibly escape."

"I have a plan," Gu Qingyan whispered, glancing furtively at the bodyguard in the distance. His voice was low and urgent, as if he were devising a meticulous plan.
Gu Ningning stared at him wide-eyed, her heart pounding. She had no idea what this so-called solution was.
Gu Qingyan knew his plan was somewhat risky, but it was their only chance. He moved closer to Gu Ningning and lowered his voice, saying, "In a moment, you'll pretend to have a stomachache, act as painful as possible, and the bodyguards definitely won't leave you alone."
Gu Ningning glanced at Gu Qingyan, a hint of hesitation flashing in her eyes. If the bodyguards discovered them, both of them might be in mortal danger.
"And then?" Gu Ningning glanced at him. Her voice was soft, but full of worry. Gu Qingyan gently took her hand and said, "Then, you should ask the bodyguard to take you back to your room and have him find a doctor to check on you." His eyes were firm and confident, as if he could already see the dawn of success.
Gu Ningning was filled with fear and unease, and she hesitated as she rubbed her hands together.

As darkness fell, the bodyguards began packing up to take them back.
"Ouch!" Gu Ningning had just reached the edge of the field when she suddenly burst into acting, squatting down and clutching her stomach as she began to cry out.
"What's wrong?" The bodyguard came over immediately and tried to help Gu Ningning up, but she seemed to have no strength and collapsed to the ground.
Seeing this, Gu Qingyan's bodyguards also walked towards Gu Ningning.
Gu Qingyan was the only one left in the field.
He looked around and quietly backed away.
Gu Ningning caught a glimpse of Gu Qingyan's movements out of the corner of her eye and immediately grabbed the bodyguard in front of her and whispered, "Look, Gu Qingyan is trying to escape!"
