Everyone present felt a chill in their hearts; the air seemed to freeze, heavy and oppressive. They all knew that Jiang Bei's words were merely an attempt to comfort Shen Zhi Qiu, trying to offer her some solace. But reality was cruel, and they could not change what had already happened.
"Get me some water," Rong Mo said in a deep, powerful voice, instructing the bodyguard. The bodyguard acted swiftly, immediately handing over a bottle of water. Rong Mo unscrewed the cap and gently brought it to Shen Zhi Qiu's lips. However, Shen Zhi Qiu stubbornly turned her face away, rejecting his concern.
