Some people seem ordinary on the surface, but in reality, they hold the keyboard and become almighty gods online.
The dozen or so posts following share the same sentiment, criticizing her in various ways and garnering agreement from others who shared the belief that Yu Ting was nothing impressive.
Too naive.
Living in her own world all day long.

Somebody suddenly interjected in the most recent comments and everyone below started to bombard him.
"Come to the Medical College, we’ll have our seniors check your eyes for free."

The school does not require attendance before the official start of college and it’s not known when the other roommate will arrive.
By the time Yu Ting finished cleaning, it was already two in the afternoon. The dorm room had undergone a complete transformation under her hands. It was now decorated in minimalist black and white tones. Even the wallpaper, which was a mix of grid and white, seamlessly blended with the overall simple design.
All the overly flashy decorations ended up in a black trash bag.
Yu Ting stood up, wiped the sweat off her forehead, took a satisfactory look at her bed, and proceeded to take out the garbage.
She carried the bag of trash and dumped it into the dustbin below the dormitory building without hesitation. Then she set off toward the campus gate intending to find a place to eat.
The cafeteria on campus was not yet serving food.
With her brisk walk, the wind blew her short hair back, revealing her entire face. Her clear jawline added a severe look to her appearance.
This attracted people’s stares.
Conversations began to unfold in places where Yu Ting couldn’t hear.

"Isn’t that Yu Ting? Damn, she’s changed a lot."
"She’s actually quite pretty. Geez, whatever happened to her over the summer vacation? She looks like a completely different person."
"Huh, no matter how pretty she is, she’s only a vase."

"What is she doing coming to school so early if she doesn’t study? Scouting for guys?"
"Who knows, maybe the bunch of guys she has are not enough to satisfy her."

As she was walking by the field, some of the first-years in their uniform were milling about. They had already been dismissed to rest, so there were hardly anyone left. Yu Ting glanced through the fence and continued on her way.
The afternoon sun was not so hot anymore.
Just a little further from the school gate are the shopping mall and the snack street, where a lot of people in training uniforms could be seen.
Yu Ting turned her head and walked towards the area.
She could worry about spending money later. Eating was the top priority right now.
Yu Ting started to look around the snack street, considering what to eat.
Suddenly, at the ice cream chariot within the crowd, she saw two very good looking people, a girl who was probably less than 160 cm tall, seeming even tinier next to a boy who was almost 185 cm tall. Her training uniform was still on, her hair tied into a simple ponytail, her eyes wide-opened, large and pure, carrying an innocent air about her.
The boy by her side was wearing golden-rimmed glasses, sporting a neat and tidy short haircut. The freshly washed hair was fluffed up by the wind. The ends of his eyebrows slant slightly downward, he wore a black round neck T-shirt with a pair of gray, relaxed, cropped pants and round-toed sport shoes at the bottom.
He had a smile on his face. His eyes, naturally curving upward, were filled with affection, and there were two dimples visible at the corners of his upturned lips.
