Yu Ting, who was constantly giving away his money, knew that many people were looking at him, but he didn’t care.
All he was doing was spending money, albeit in larger amounts than most.
He wagered his chips with nonchalance. Within just over an hour, Yu Ting had visited the front desk twice, exchanging more than two hundred million chips. He sensed that he was quickly approaching the four-day, eight hundred million mark he had set himself in Part 1.
As night deepened, the number of people in the casino also increased. Yu Ting was now waiting for the croupier to lift the dice cup. The shouts and cries of the people around him kept increasing, not decreasing.
While increasing the decibel level didn’t affect the outcome of the dice, the men, to some extent, still shouted on.
Yu Ting, unbothered, stood by calmly awaiting the result.
"Ah! Finally, it’s small! Haha, I thought I’d go mad waiting for that!"
"Damn! I’ve been betting small so many times, and the first time I bet large, it turns out small!"
...
The dice cup is lifted.
3, 4, 1, small.
She won with a small bet, 5 million.
Carry on.
Continuing to use the system’s money to bet.
After the staff revealed the result, they began to distribute the chips. Yu Ting picked up his winnings and quickly moved them to his side, placing his bet on ’large’.
Move on.
Even as time slipped away each time Yu Ting lifted his hand to bet, his wagers that evening alone totalled around two to three hundred million.
The casino hardly ever lost money. Despite Yu Ting’s dozens of bets, he still lost more often than he won. Losing 5 million each time soon attracted others’ attention.
There was no shortage of wealthy individuals at Nanshan City casino, and those who lost billions in one night were not rare. But someone like Yu Ting, who was attractive, wealthy, and young, was indeed a rare sight.
While Yu Ting was focussed on placing his bets, she felt a nudge on her shoulder. Glancing sideways, she saw a stranger, a man with a sycophantic smile who was rubbing his hands in the early summer heat.
He wasn’t cold, surely he was just nervous?
After a quick glance at the man, Yu Ting turned her attention back to her dice cup.
"Miss, to whom do you belong?" The man wondered. Only a wealthy family from either Nanshan City or Jiangqi City could afford such a lavish daughter, did she know how much she had spent in such a short time without showing any signs of stopping!
The man, busy with his thoughts and questions, was unaware that to someone like Yu Ting, spending money was a matter of simply having a hand.
Or a mouth.
"I am independent," Yu Ting replied curtly without understanding what he meant. She only knew about the affluent Shen family.
"Independent?" Upon hearing this, the man’s initial reflex was to mentally thumb through the list of all the rich people in Nanshan City and Jiangqi City, but he couldn’t think of any wealthy individuals named Independent.
The further he delved, the further astray his thoughts led, and he momentarily lost his obsequious smile.
Could she be from some hidden, influential family?
Upon realizing that it was highly unlikely for any family to be so hidden, the man smiled again. "You really know how to joke, Miss. You’re trying to trick me, aren’t you?" he said.
"Yes," said Yu Ting, her eyes still on her dice cup.
4, 1, 3, 8 points, small.
She lost.
"Miss, are you planning to stick with this one game? How about trying something else? I know a bit about these things. If you don’t mind, I could introduce you to some other games in the Nanshan City casino. It’s quite fun, you know!"
