The executive assistant left to fulfill the command, feeling an immense weight lift off his shoulders as soon as he stepped out of the office. He relayed Shen Ruchu’s instructions, and in a few minutes, three or four men arrived at the rooftop office.
They entered the office nervously.
Having done his task, the executive assistant was relieved of his duties in the matter.
While lazing around in the secretary’s room, he opened Weibo on his phone and clicked on the hashtag #DidGeneralManagerYuBuyANewBuildingToHireMoreStaff#. A harmonious and orderly card-playing formation greeted him, making him feel healed. He gleefully followed suit and joined in.
Compared to the tranquility of the secretary’s room, the atmosphere inside the office was indeed terrifying.
