Chapter 413 - 412: The Final Night, Wei Qinghe Performs on Stage_1

Then, amid the thunderous applause and spotlight, six neatly dressed trainees took the stage, ready to present the stage play they had been preparing for two weeks.

The six performed a classic scene from a school drama, successfully tying together individual, home, school, and societal themes, which resonated well with the young audience, exciting their emotions.

When the twelve-minute performance came to an end, the audience erupted in applause.

Amid the applause, the first group of trainees left the stage while the production team returned to the stage. After expressing their admiration and amazement at the performance, they continued, "All six of you gave fantastic performances. It’s really impressive how much you’ve all improved over the course of the show. Now, let’s welcome Wei Qinghe and Zhang Tianbin to sing a few songs for us."

As soon as the two names were mentioned, the audience below erupted, raising their support signs high and beginning to chant cheers one by one.

"Qingqing, you’re the best! Mom loves you!"

"Go Qingqing!"

"Aaaah Bingbing."

...

Amid the cheers from the crowd, Wei Qinghe and Zhang Tianbin made their entrance. Their brightly coloured outfits shone under the spotlight, enhancing their handsome and irresistible aura. Wei Qinghe, known for his refined and noble British-esque appearance, looked particularly like a prince from a fairytale standing centre stage under the spotlight, exuding a gentleness, politeness, and upright character.

Wei Qinghe first scanned the audience with a smile, and when the accompanying music started, he began to sing.

He lead.

The starting of the song was like a narrative, with Wei Qinghe and Zhang Tianbin taking turns singing in perfectly synchronized duet.

As the accompaniment got faster and faster, the song reached its first climax at 1 minute and 58 seconds, featuring the two singers hitting their notes together.

"What else do you want me to say or do?"

"I know that two people who truly understand each other won’t have so many doubts and suspicions."

"You didn’t trust me, so you abandoned me."

"What else do you want me to say or do?"

Finally, at the second climax, it started with a duet, followed by Zhang Tianbin stopping and Wei Qinghe alone hitting the high notes.

While singing, Wei Qinghe spotted Yu Ting in the audience. Feeling a lot more settled, he belted out his notes unrestrained, expressing all the negative emotions he’d accumulated in the past.

The emotions reached their peak.

Not only was Wei Qinghe’s voice pleasant to listen to, but it also had a story to tell, truly tugging at the heartstrings.

Most of the audience members were covering their mouths, sitting in their seats, yet stirred with excitement.

Aaaah.

Then the accompaniment stopped, and Wei Qinghe also held off. A little flush from his singing, he stood under the spotlight, arms outstretched, maintaining his stance for a moment before bringing one hand to his abdomen, slightly bending one leg. Wei Qinghe smiled and made a gentleman’s bow to the audience, his movements flowing smoothly throughout.

"Aaaahhh..."

"Qingqing!"

"Qingqing, mom loves you!"

Looking at Wei Qinghe under the spotlight, Yu Ting had a lot of thoughts. She felt his journey hadn’t been easy either. Joining the audience, she kept clapping forcefully.

Then Wei Qinghe and Zhang Tianbin descended from the stage and took their seats in the first row.

Once again, the production team expressed their admiration and then chuckled, "Alright, all eight trainees have finished their performances. Let’s welcome our four special guests onto the stage with a round of applause."

Amid the thunderous applause, the spotlight shone on the side of the stage where four people appeared one by one.

Seeing one of the women, Wei Qinghe’s face suddenly changed.

Why is she here?!
