Chapter 414 - 413: Women’s comments on Wei Qinghe: His singing is average_1

The four people that came up on stage this time, three men and one woman, two Oscar-winning actors, a singer and a musician, had all been in the industry for over twenty years and each one was more famous than the last.

When the four of them walked onto the stage, the audience roared in excitement.

"Oh my God, what a legendary lineup!"

"I’m in awe, dream-crossover collaboration."

"I’ve never imagined that I could see the four of them on the same stage one day."

...

All four of them were in their 40s, and they all carried an elegance that had been honed over time. They stood together on stage, and without much introduction, the audience knew exactly who they were and clapped enthusiastically in greeting.

"Hello everyone, we’re delighted to be part of this show."

"Ah! Hello, Teacher Meng! Hello, Teacher Jiang!"

The show’s host stood aside, smiling, "On behalf of Huyue Entertainment, I warmly welcome all of you."

"I suppose that you have all watched the performances of the eight trainees backstage. Having been in your respective fields for decades, you must have your own unique perspectives. Can you share your thoughts on the performances given by the trainees just now?" the host continued probing.

The special guests were here to have fun and also provide authoritative comments on the performances of the trainees.

The host then handed out the microphone, in order, to the actor, the dancer, and then the two musicians, with the only woman standing on the far right.

"It was excellent. The younger generation is impressive, their performance is full of intensity."

The award-winning actor was first to review the twelve-minute stage play performed by the six trainees.

The host listened intently, occasionally nodding and expressing his agreement.

The two award-winning actors, both with gray hair at their temples, spoke for over ten minutes. Following that, the microphone was handed to the third guest, a famous male singer that had dominated the inland music charts in recent years.

While holding the microphone, the male singer gazed at Wei Qinghe, seating at the front row, and smiled in approval: "Huyue Entertainment has done well with this show. I’ve also seen some talented newcomers. The two singers did well in their own ways. The boy handled the quiet parts very well. As for the climax, it totally deserved the name: powerful and emotionally engaging. Your name is Wei Qinghe, correct?"

The male singer had a friendly smile and made an effort to engage with Wei Qinghe, who was sitting in the audience. This drew many eyes to Wei Qinghe, including Yu Ting’s.

For some reason, being seated near him, Yu Ting felt that Wei Qinghe was especially tense right then, much more so than when he was singing on stage. It felt like he was struggling to stay in his seat, side-eyeing the exit, his body language portraying his desire to flee the scene.

Yu Ting was puzzled.

"Yes."

Wei Qinghe replied, his gaze flickering towards the woman standing next to the male singer. His sweating became more intense.

"Although there is some room for improvement in vocal control, your performance is certainly better than most of the other trainees. It’s clear you’ve got talent in this area. Overall, very impressive. I look forward to seeing your future development."

Upon hearing what the male singer had to say, Wei Qinghe respectfully bowed: "I will work hard."

The microphone was then passed to the fourth guest, a woman around her early forties, a composer and songwriter. Her figure and skin were flawlessly maintained. At a glance, she clearly looked like someone from an affluent family.

"The singing was mediocre."
