There were more than ten pregnant women, each with a bulging belly, in front of her in line. The oldest woman looked like she was in her late 30s and the youngest girl was probably not even of legal age. Their bellies ranged from the size of a large watermelon to the size of a small melon.
Each was accompanied by a man fussing over them.
As Yu Ting watched, she couldn’t help but reflect.
A strange feeling surged in her heart.
She had not yet broken the news to Lu Nanchen. She planned to wait until the test results came out to tell him, lest he gets worried.
The line was gradually shrinking and more people were coming up behind her. Suddenly, a heavily pregnant woman appeared. The woman looked at Yu Ting a few times and then casually asked, "Are you married? Are you pregnant?"
"Ah...yes, I’m married, but I’m not sure if I’m pregnant. That’s why I’m here for a check-up." Yu Ting, caught off guard, responded.
"Then why isn’t your husband here with you?" the woman asked sharply.
