In his twenty-six years of life, this was the first time Lu Nanchen had encountered someone distressed about having too much money to spend.
The phone call went quiet for a few minutes, as Lu Nanchen thought about the diamond-studded water cup, handmade wool cushion, and the two Ferraris worth over sixty million that he had ordered for her, he fell into deep thought.
Did she come into all this money like windfall?
"Fine, wait outside the dormitory, I’ll be down soon." Unable to refuse Yu Ting, Lu Nanchen finally compromised.
The call ended quickly, Yu Ting got the answer she wanted and satisfied, she began to pace under the building, occasionally bumping into older professors coming in and out.
It was ten minutes later when Lu Nanchen appeared. He was dressed in familiar white shirt and black trousers, his black leather shoes shined brightly, and he still wore that men’s ring. His entire demeanor was cold and detached.
Lu Nanchen turned to look at the girl waiting for him at the base of the building, dressed in sports attire. A makeup style that suited her enhanced her overall appearance and charm considerably, making her look youthful and vibrant.

"I’m here."
"Kept you waiting."
Yu Ting looked at the man standing in front of her.
This man exuded magnanimity and strict adherence to propriety in every gesture, his charisma not only manifested in his physical appearance but also in his inner manners and culture.
"Didn’t wait long, let’s go." Having admired Lu Nanchen for a while, Yu Ting walked out side by side with him.
The two of them walked under the open sky, one a scandal-plagued college girl and the other an irresistibly handsome professor. Both were well-known; one due to scandalous reports, the other for his attractiveness.
"Aren’t you afraid to walk alongside me?"
As they walked, Yu Ting suddenly asked this question, which puzzled Lu Nanchen.
"Afraid of what?"
"Others saying that I’m seducing you, that I have ulterior motives."
Lu Nanchen dismissed her concerns casually.
"Ridiculous, you’re my legally married wife."
His candid admission made Yu Ting look at him few more times, he had said it seriously.
The summer was indeed hot, even the wind seemed to have a warmth, making Yu Ting’s ears feel hot.
"Yes, indeed."

After the two left the campus, Yu Ting immediately hailed a taxi to the nearest mall around the university. Despite being work hours, there were still pedestrians in the mall, and many cast admiring glances at Lu Nanchen.
Yu Ting led Lu Nanchen directly to a high-end men’s suit store.
The twinkling lights inside the store excellently showcased the clothes on the mannequins, offering a stunning visual effect.
These shoppers had customers, the female store assistant quickly came over, came straight to Lu Nanchen and asked shyly, "Hello sir, may I help you?"
Lu Nanchen lowered his gaze, looking uninterested.
"Bring some clothes that suit him."
"Very well sir, what type do you prefer?"
"What types do you have?"
The one who was still talking to her was Yu Ting.
"Oh~ we’ve put up a lot of new arrivals for the season change, do you want to browse and see what you like?" The female assistant asked Lu Nanchen, her voice soft and her eyes filled with interest, occasionally stealing glances at him, then shyly turning her gaze away, then wanting to look again, then turning away again.
