The process of establishing a company is really troublesome. Guided by the principle of simplicity, Yu Ting and Song Zhan had spent half a week of late nights to secure the funds and plan. After having received more money from the system, Yu Ting chose a ready-made building at a location a little bit far from the school.
Some staff had been recruited by Song Zhan from the talent market. The official operation of the company started more than ten days later, and Song Zhan would drive to the company whenever he had time.
The venue was determined, reserve funds secured, contracts were given to a regular law firm to draft, and operation of the company was on track.
The only thing left was to sign artists and invest in scripts.
As for investing in scripts, it was simple; just needed to contact some directors and negotiate.
For signing artists, Song Zhan first planned to start with anonymous trainees who had no reputation, and had spent several nights reviewing portfolios of trainees under various artist agencies.
He selected more than a dozen from an initial screening and planned to have an interview-style second screening with Yu Ting, and promptly sign those who were good.
Song Zhan spent several days carefully choosing this time, bought a light-blocking bed cover for his roommate and then studied under a desk lamp until midnight every night.

Since they jointly opened a company, Song Zhan naturally integrated himself into the duo of Yu Ting and Ning Xuan. For the convenience of communication and time-saving, the three attended classes together every day.

Lu Nanchen still wore his usual white shirt and black pants as he walked into the classroom. Yu Ting, lying on the desk with her eyelids trembling, glanced at him and then continued to languish.
Ning Xuan went to hand the roll call register to Lu Nanchen for his signature, while Song Zhan was still murmuring beside Yu Tingโs ears.
"I think thereโs a guy called Tang Youmin in there whoโs pretty good: good appearance, rich personal history, no scandals. He even played the second male lead in a web drama last summer vacation; it feels like heโs worth signing."
"Speaking of looks, from among them, I think the most handsome guy has some dark history. Weโll have to see if it can work."
