On the way to the agreed-upon restaurant, a white Lincoln SUV is moving forth. The driver and assistants are seated upfront, while Song Zhan and Yu Ting settle in the back seat. Currently, a hint of fragrance emanates from everyone, more or less.
At the moment, Song Zhan is adjusting his clothes and his posture on his seat occasionally.
The company generally gets tense during such times.
Yu Ting seated beside is better off. She is on her phone talking with someone.
"I’ve been doing pretty great lately. After class, I eat in the dining hall, then head back to the dormitory."
"Yes, yes, yes, I am studying and even completing my assignments."
Yu Ting’s eyes drift towards the window as she talks over the solace call from her elderly mother. She adorably answers all of her mother’s questions one by one. The person on the other end of the call seems more relieved than before.
"Your finals are approaching, why don’t you ask Nanchen to tutor you. Weren’t you holding only 23 marks in mathematics last semester?" touched by the past, her mother offered the suggestion.
The conversation continues for a few more minutes before ending. Before hanging up, her mother doesn’t forget to make the suggestion again.
Once the call ended, Yu Ting supports her face with one hand, staring through the window for a long time.
Ask Lu Nanchen for tutoring...
She wants to.
After deciding within her heart, Yu Ting takes out her phone and dials Lu Nanchen. Presumably, because it’s Saturday evening and he isn’t very busy, he answers the call quickly.

Lu Nanchen says something Yu Ting hadn’t anticipated at all.

"My bonus at the end of the year gets deducted if the students fail too much."

Yu Ting doesn’t say anything, the two fall into silence for a while.
"What have you been busy with, with Song Zhan lately?"
Lu Nanchen asks curiously. He has been pondering this question for several days. Both of them don’t seem to listen in class.
"Busy with setting up a company."

"The company was just established, so there are many tasks to handle." Yu Ting unfolds her casual chat mode with Lu Nanchen, and starts with her minor grievances, "I am currently networking outside."

The white Lincoln stops at the bottom of the restaurant building. The company assistant gets off first followed by Song Zhan who, unlike his usual casual attire, is in a black suit today. With the top button undone but muscular build causing the rest to bulge slightly, alongside a ruggedly handsome face, the entire look is somewhat villainous and wild, exuding a mature man’s charm.
After getting off the car, Song Zhan waits aside, before Yu Ting follows.
The first thing to come down is a black, pointed high heel.
Next, Yu Ting steps out of the car altogether. Underneath, she’s wearing a white satin V-neck blouse with black slacks, layered under a long black trench coat that hits her knees. Her hair is fluttery, caught by the wind from outside the car.
