Putting their thoughts aside, the two looked at the environment inside the space. Previously, there was no distinction between the outside and the inside of this space. Apart from a pavilion, there was no outside. Everything was shrouded in mist. The supermarket that Mingxiu brought with her before coming to this world had also been transformed into a super-sized shape. So Mingxiu usually stayed inside. Anyway, it was super big inside, and she could stay in a different place every day for a long time.
But now her huge supermarket is gone. As soon as Mingxiu entered, she stepped onto the ground outside. Saying it was boundless would be an exaggeration, but it was indeed very large.
There were meadows everywhere, a river in the distance, and what looked like a grove of trees in the distance, along with a small house and a familiar-looking pavilion. That was all.
How can I not be angry? Anyone would be upset to see all their snacks gone.
Kangxi frowned as he looked around. The two of them first circled the grass and looked around. "This doesn't look like the static space we had before. It should be a space with normal flow that can grow things in it," Kangxi said to Mingxiu after looking around.
Mingxiu nodded, feeling the wind around her. Well, this is acceptable, and it's not unforgivable.
The villa has three floors in total. The first floor has a toilet, living room, kitchen, and a small room, and that's it. The second floor has three sections, and the third floor is a direct connection. Mingxiu understood at a glance that this was probably the master bedroom.
The two walked slowly forward. There were a few fish in the river, but they looked very small. Mingxiu pouted and thought, "What can these fish do? They're not even enough to fill a tooth gap."
"Let's go, let's go see what's ahead. We should leave soon, otherwise Baoqing and the others will be getting impatient." Kangxi pulled Mingxiu's hand and walked forward.
Mingxiu nodded, and the two walked towards a grove of trees ahead. As they got closer, they realized that it wasn't actually a grove of trees.
It was also a grove of trees, but it was mostly fruit trees, and some other trees were not very noticeable. Mingxiu was relieved that they had left some food for her.
"Luckily, I left a lot of things for Chenghuan as her dowry when I left, otherwise they would all have disappeared, and I would be heartbroken today," Mingxiu said, touching her chest.
"Haha, alright, it's alright, we still have time, we can fill it up slowly." Kangxi reassured Mingxiu with a smile.
Mingxiu nodded, and the two of them quickly left without looking any further.
Mingxiu quickly washed up, changed her clothes, and the two of them went out.
When they got outside, Yinzhi and the others were already waiting. The two of them didn't say much, and the group went straight to the street.
“Father, I’ve learned that they’ve researched a lot of things here, and they’re quite impressive, but they just don’t sell them.” Yinzhi walked over and whispered to Kangxi.
"I know, this was expected. Let's think of a way. It would be best if we could get it back, but it doesn't matter if we can't. Anything that is beneficial to the Qing Dynasty can be brought back." Kangxi nodded calmly.
Emperor Kangxi had anticipated this, and to be honest, the Qing Dynasty's development had already surpassed that of these countries. What they lacked was not some core technologies, but rather things that the Qing Dynasty did not have due to geographical reasons.
The group strolled around briefly. Mingxiu's initial excitement had turned into boredom, especially since she ate the same things every day. She felt like she had no will to live. Originally, the staff could cook for her in the kitchen, but due to some issues, the chefs were no longer there.
Mingxiu glanced at the expressions on Kangxi's and Yinzhi's faces, sighed, and finally decided to go herself.
She sent someone to buy meat and vegetables, and Mingxiu went into her space to take out the remaining seasonings from the kitchen, preparing to cook some dishes.
Inside, Mingxiu, Yierjueluo Genshi, and Yulan were cooking.
Of course, it was mainly Mingxiu who did the work, and the others assisted her.
"Mother, what are we going to do today?" Yierjuelogen looked at Mingxiu curiously. She really couldn't accept the food here because of her Chinese taste, so she was really looking forward to it.
Mingxiu continued, her hands still busy, saying, "Let's have crispy chicken, squirrel fish, braised pork ribs, and stir-fried vegetables for lunch today. I think their sweet peppers look pretty good, and they're not spicy."
"Okay, okay, I really didn't realize it when I was at home, but I really miss it now that I'm out here. I'm sorry to trouble you, Mother, but my hands are just too clumsy," said Yierjuelogenshi somewhat embarrassed.
"What's the big deal? I just love these things. You guys haven't been exposed to them before, so it's naturally difficult for you to learn at first. Besides, you don't need to lift a finger at home anyway. We can just enjoy ourselves," Mingxiu replied with a smile.
But actually, if it weren't for needing a legitimate source so that the two of them could eat it, Mingxiu wouldn't make it outside; she would definitely make it secretly in her space, which is simpler and more convenient.
"Yes, but my daughter-in-law is still very happy to have come out. She has never left the capital before, and I never expected that she would have the opportunity to come so far away this time," said Yierjuelogenshi.
"It's alright, Baoqing will take you out to play more often in the future. Staying in the capital all day is not good. You will only know how big the scenery is when you come out and see it, right?" Mingxiu said, while her hands kept making cuts on the fish in her hand, coating it with starch, and waiting to put it directly into the oil in a while.
