Chapter 1511 Fourth Master Sets a Trap for Uya

"In a few days, your father will take you to the palace to see your mother, okay?" the Fourth Prince said to his two daughters.

"Father, does Mother not want us anymore? Why did she want us to be handed over to Aunt Song?" Wuxiha asked Fourth Master with a pout and wide eyes.

"Of course not. Your mother is just going to the palace to stay with your sixth brother for a few days. She'll be back soon." The Fourth Prince felt a pang in his heart. His daughter's words struck a chord with him, making him feel a little uncomfortable. Although that woman was his concubine, it was clear that he had lost control of her.

"Really?" Ushiha and Bechuk looked at Fourth Master with eyes that were so cute they could kill, making our Fourth Master unable to resist picking them up in each arm, comforting one on the left and kissing the other on the right for a while before returning to his front yard.

"Master, everything is ready. This servant has discussed and prepared with the head nanny. We are just waiting for your instructions." Su Peisheng hadn't been by the Fourth Master's side; it turned out he had gone to carry out a task.

The Fourth Prince sat back in his armchair, nodding slightly as he said, "It's not dark enough yet, let's wait until later. Send someone to tell you that I've already gone to the Nian family."

"Yes," Su Peisheng replied, suppressing his joy. It turned out that the Fourth Prince had already instructed him to find the head nanny and a few people to put on a good show for that Princess Wuya. The Fourth Prince hadn't exposed Cuiyun at the pavilion because he feared that the maid would try to cover for Wuya with her death. Even if he captured her, he might not be able to completely control her mistress. That's why the Fourth Prince hadn't acted, all for the sake of tonight's performance.

Meanwhile, Lady Wuya was taking a bath. Afraid that she might have an unclean smell that would displease the Fourth Prince, she deliberately ignored Cuiyun's reminder that bathing was not allowed during postpartum confinement and insisted on taking a bath.

“Cuiyun, the master seems a bit different today. Why did he suddenly ask about what happened that day?” said Madam Wuya.

"This servant doesn't know either, perhaps I just wanted to ask." Cuiyun was pouring hot water onto Wuya, who was soaking in the bathtub, and her eyes flickered a few times as she spoke. She hadn't yet told the Fourth Prince about the time he encountered her burning paper money in the pavilion that night.

"Now that Niohuru is in the palace, I must seize this opportunity to win over the prince's heart," said Lady Wuya, her expression one of certainty.

"Master, what if... what if the master finds out that the child was you, that you aborted it yourself?" Cuiyun asked, suppressing her discomfort.

"No, I will never let him know. Cuiyun, what do you mean by that!" Uya stared at Cuiyun, who was scooping water for her, and said.

"No, it's nothing. I was just worried," Cuiyun said, quickly lowering her head to hide her fear.

“Remember, never. Cuiyun, you must never let him know. Cuiyun, listen to me, once I gain favor with the emperor, I will definitely find you a good marriage and give you a grand wedding.” Wuya said.

“Yes, I am your servant, and I have no relatives outside,” Cuiyun said.

“Cuiyun, you and I are one, so don’t overthink it, okay?” said Wuya.

"Yes, the water is cold. I'll go add some more," Cuiyun said.

“Yes, go ahead. I will wait here,” said Lady Uya.

Since the hot water was at the gatehouse, Cuiyun took the empty bucket and prepared to go outside to have Zhuier and Caihua fetch it. Ever since Wuya had punished the two of them last time, these two maids dared not be negligent anymore.

"You two go and fetch some more water, hurry, Princess is waiting!" Cuiyun said.

Caihua and Zhuier didn't dare to say anything, took the wooden bucket, and left the west courtyard. After all, the kitchen wasn't very close, and Cuiyun wouldn't do such rough work as carrying water; it was the two of them who did it.

"Cuiyun!"

Just as Cuiyun was about to turn around and go inside, she suddenly noticed a young eunuch from the front courtyard walk in and call her by name.

"Is this Eunuch Zhou? Or is it Master?" Cuiyun greeted him warmly as soon as she saw that it was someone from the front courtyard.

"The master sent word that he has something to attend to and will not be coming today," said Eunuch Zhou.

Cuiyun hadn't expected to bring such news. Thinking of Uya, who was still fantasizing about the arrival of the Fourth Prince while sitting in the wooden tub, she suddenly felt a little pathetic.

"I understand, thank you for making this trip, sir," Cuiyun said.

"Alas, the master originally said he was coming here, but Consort Nian sent someone to say that the Fifth Prince was not feeling well, so they dragged the master away instead," Eunuch Zhou said, following Su Peisheng's instructions.

Cuiyun was startled and quickly took off a gold ring from her hand and handed it to Eunuch Zhou, asking, "Did the concubine send Master over that year?"

"That's right, alas, the master originally came to see Princess Wuya." Eunuch Zhou accepted with a smile.

"Thank you for informing me, Father-in-law," Cuiyun said.

After Eunuch Zhou left, Cuiyun wondered whether she should go in and talk to Wuya. She hesitated for a moment, but finally decided to go and tell her anyway, otherwise, if the princess kept waiting like this, she didn't know when the commotion would finally stop.

"Cuiyun, Cuiyun!"

Uya was soaking in the slightly cool wooden tub when she suddenly noticed that the window in front of her seemed to be unattended, and a cool breeze was blowing in from outside.

"Master, your servant is here!" Cuiyun stepped into Wuya's room.

"Go close the window! Why isn't the window closed?" Uya frowned.

Cuiyun hurriedly went to close the window, though she was certain she had closed it herself!

"Cuiyun, help me up. I don't need to wash anymore; I don't smell." said Wuya.

“Yes, Your Highness, this servant will help you get up,” Cuiyun said.

After she helped Wuya up from the wooden tub, cleaned her body, and changed her clothes, she said, "Princess, why don't I help you rest?"

“Wait a moment, Master is coming,” said Uya.

"Master, the master just sent someone to say that he is not coming." Cuiyun's voice was as soft as a mosquito's buzz.

"What?! Master isn't coming!" Uya grabbed Cuiyun's arm and questioned loudly.

Cuiyun felt her arm was a little sore from being gripped by Wuya. She nodded and said, "They said that Consort Nian sent someone to ask the prince to go there, but it's not good for the Fifth Prince."

"Hmph, you slut! That slut!" Uya shouted angrily upon hearing this, "She harmed my child, and now she's trying to steal my master."

“My lord, why don’t I help you to rest? If he doesn’t come today, he will surely come tomorrow,” Cuiyun said.

"That bitch! She used appetite-stimulating powder to make me so fat, and made the baby in my belly too big to be born. Now that I have sacrificed my own child, she is still trying to take it from me." Uya became angrier and angrier as she thought about it.
